"I heard that there was an exam yesterday, what score did you get?" Seraphina asked curiously.
"Uhh.. I..don't feel like sharing today." John replied with his head facing down.
"Was it that bad?"
"W-well yea!"
"Jeez, you barely study. No wonder why you always get nervous in tests, guess I'll have to find someone who has better genes then you for the next generation." She smirked.
"Hey, at least I'm muscular and tall >:C."
"So am I."
It was true, Seraphina started working out more often. Although she wasn't really the bulky type, her shoulders and arms were more broad and muscular compared to other girls. Even in combat, she would strike them down. The only question to this was, why.
"Look, I gotta get going soon."
"To where??" John asked.
"..My friend's place."
"..What are you doing with him anyway?"
"None of your business, I'm gonna go now, bye!" She hastily walked away until she felt a large hand grab her own.
"What ain't you telling me?"
"..About what?"
"I meant, what are you keeping from me?"
"N-nothing..?"
"Yea, yea sure, first of all your so attached to this so called 'friend' and now you wanna meet him again? That don't square mate."
"Look, next time ok?"
"You always say that!"
She sighed and started to move down the sidewalk until she felt an arm hook her elbow.
"Oh my god.. I'm telling you! It's nothing!"
"Fine, I believe you, but don't do anything you don't want me to see you as, okay?"
She let out a sigh and replied, "Ok." solemnly.
John pecked her cheek before he allowed her to continue.
