Khalil took a deep breath and repeated the mantra he'd always say, the one after school ended. 'One cigarette a day.'
Throwing the cigarette into the ground, he walked towards his car that was in front of the school dumpster and as he crossed, he heard a deep sniff. Turning around, he saw something he'd never thought he see in his life. Golden Girl Heather Williams. Crouched behind the dumpster and sniffing what seemed to be cocaine. Her head shot up and Khalil almost stumbled back as he took in her appearance. What used to be ocean blue eyes were now bloodshot with streaks of mascara running down her face She smiled. "Hi there."
And all of a sudden Heather did not look so golden anymore.
