"Come on guys we need one more points" Izzy yells
A guy on the other teams gets the ball.
"Mason get the ball" she yells
I run to one of the guys on the other team, and steal the ball taking it to their net.
"Mason, Mason, Mason" I hear the crowd cheered
My heart was pumping like crazy as I kick the ball into the net and then the buzzer goes off. The crowd went wild, and my team runs over yelling. I just won our game against our rivals, also the game that determined if we were going to play offs. My team calms down, and we shake hands with the other team before heading to the locker room. We get changed and shower before meeting with our coach.
"Playoffs" Izzy yells
"Woah" my team and I yell
"Alright I'm giving you guys off tomorrow, but then we got to start practicing hard, we got 6 weeks to practice for this play off tournament because I'm giving you spring break off, if we win all the games we'll have five games in one weekend which means two games a day except the last day. It's going to be tiring but we got this" he says
"Hell yeah" we yell
"Alright get home see you in two days" he says
We walk out, and I walk to my family.
"That was an amazing goal Mas" Jason says
"Thanks" I say
"Good job son" my dad says
"Thanks dad" I smile
"Mason Cody" someone says
I turn, and see the mens soccer coach for Stanford walking up.
"Your coaches probably told you already but I would like offer a full ride scholarship for you. You are an amazing player, and I want you" he says
"Yes, thank you sir" I say
"Here's my number, call me with any questions, and I also want to set up a time where you can come practice with us, and get a tour of campus" he says
"Thank you sir" I say
"Let me know what times best for you" he says
"I will, thank you again" I say
He walks away, and my mom pulls me into a hug.
"Congratulations sweetie" she says
"Thank you" I say
Cam hugs me.
"Is Isabella come over" my mom asks
"I have to ask her, but I will let you know" I say
She nods.
"I'm going to get a ride home with Mason if that's okay" Cam says
My parents nod, and leave with Jason.
"They met Izzy" she asks as we are walking over to Izzy
I nod.
"Are you guys dating" she asks
"Just friends" I say
"For now" she says
"I saw you talking to the coach" Izzy says as we get to her
"Offered me a full ride like you said, and he wants me to come practice with the team" I say
"That's great Mas, congratulations" she says
