158 It's Good He Accepted Us

As soon as Li Ming stepped out of the office, he took out his phone and sent Mo Fang a message.

Li Ming: [I went to talk to your father and he wasn't angry about earlier. He actually invited me for dinner this Wednesday.]

Mo Fang who had already gone to the changing room and was currently dallying about to see if he could get the moment right when Li Ming came in and show him his most beautiful side immediately took out his phone when it vibrated. Looking at the message, he smiled at first but then, his expression derailed.

What was his father thinking?! Neither of them could cook! If anything, it would've been better for Li Ming to invite the two of them over to his place. At the very least, they could all have been a nice meal then. Now, they would have to suffer together. He pursed his lips, feeling a little unhappy. But in any case, it was good that his father wasn't making trouble for Li Ming. That really would have been a problem. Thinking for a bit, Mo Fang finally just dialed Li Ming's number, not bothering to write a message.

Li Ming hadn't had time to put the phone away, so he immediately saw that there was an incoming call. Seeing Mo Fang's name on top of the screen, his heart fluttered. Calling him back directly ... had Mo Fang missed him so much? Because of what had happened earlier, he hadn't dared to pass by the service counter today so they actually hadn't seen each other all this time. He felt a bit bad about it, especially since he had originally promised that they would. Still, just the thought that he would be able to hear Mo Fang's voice in a moment made him answer the call as if his fingers had a life of their own.

Mo Fang didn't give him time to say anything and immediately started talking. "Even if he invited you, don't expect too much. My father can't cook. If you're lucky, he'll just order take out and pretend that he made it himself. If he really tries to cook, you might have to stay the night because of food poisoning. But anyway, it's good that he accepted you as my boyfriend. I was really afraid he would make trouble for us as well."

Li Ming couldn't help but laugh and glanced over his shoulder in the direction of the office before he walked away just in case. "Thank you for the warning. In any case, I don't mind it much. I'm just happy that he accepts me. I was worried about what would happen if he didn't. Or if my image in his eyes had already changed after what he saw today. I don't want you to be in trouble with him because of us."

Mo Fang gave a hum, not sounding concerned at all. "Are, if worst comes to worst, I'll just run away again. There's nothing that could get between the two of us as long as we don't let it happen."

Li Ming raised a hand and rubbed his forehead, really not sure how to deal with this. "Don't do anything that you might regret later." Even though he said so, he felt as if his heart was melting. How could Mo Fang always say the right things? This kind of love confession, he was really weak to it. "Anyway, where are you right now?"

"Ah, I just finished my shift so I went to the changing room. Did you already finish?"

Li Ming gave a hum. "I did. But I'll come by. Wait for me."

"Will do!" Not giving Li Ming the chance to say anything else, Mo Fang already ended the call, and put his phone down, before slowly starting to unbutton his shirt. It wasn't too late yet to give his plan a try.

Thus, when Li Ming walked into the changing room to see if Mo Fang was already done, he found him with his pants changed, but his shirt lying to the side, while he was currently taking out the one he wanted to change into. He stared at him before hurriedly looking away, the tips of his ears turning a little red. "Oh, I see you're not done yet. Sorry for barging in like that."

Mo Fang stopped with the shirt in his hands and gave his boyfriend a puzzled look. "What's with you? In any case, I already changed in front of you when we were just coworkers last week. And didn't we even change together just some hours ago? Why are you suddenly pretending that it's a big thing?" He put on the shirt, but didn't button it up yet and instead went over to Li Ming, sidling up to him and giving him a lingering kiss. "In any case, I'm happy to finally see you. I missed you the whole day."

Li Ming realized that he had acted stupid. Thus, he just gave a hum and kissed him back, feeling exactly the same. "Well, at the very least, there's nothing we need to worry about now. Since your father accepted us, there won't be many problems in the future. I think in exchange for that, not seeing each other for a few hours is alright, isn't it?"

Mo Fang gave a hum and pursed his lips before giving Li Ming another kiss. "I guess it's not wrong to say it like this but I'd still much rather spend every single moment with you. Being alone at the service counter was really agonizing today. Last week, I felt like the job wasn't that bad but today, it's completely different."

Li Ming smiled and motioned over to the locker. "In any case, you should finish getting dressed. Today's over and tomorrow is a new day. We'll have more time."

Mo Fang reluctantly pulled back, then went to put on his shirt, making sure to give Li Ming a good look. "Well, in general, you're right. Just that having a free day with you is much better. Thankfully, we are usually in the same shift or this would be really unbearable."

Lu Han Ming nodded and waited for him to finish before he grabbed his hand and motioned over to the door. "Well, since we are both free now, how about going to have dinner together before we say goodbye for today?"

Mo Fang followed him, but couldn't help but complain. "How about having dinner together and then not saying goodbye? In any case, I think it would be much nicer to stay with you at your place. Do you really mind?"

Li Ming looked over, wanting to say no but when he saw Mo Fang's expression, he had a really hard time doing so. Ah, sometimes, he really couldn't deal with him.
