Newt wasn't the sneakiest of boy's. It was pretty obvious he was in love with you. You liked him back, too! How could you not? He was perfect: funny, cute, kind, everything you wanted. But, you weren't sure exactly how to tell him. He always seemed so confident in social situations but you weren't. It wasn't until the grievers raided the Glade and killed a lot of people that you realized how short time was. So, albeit awkwardly, you just told him.
