An extra from the previous chapter. The short story behind the picture that Iruka discovered of Kakashi and him with cheeky Naruto.

..................................................

It was a few days after Sandaime's funeral.

Iruka stared at the academy ground which being renovated a bit and was really glad that not much of the academy was destroyed from the invasion by Orochimaru and Sound Village. He was also relieved that everything seemed to be working again in the village, slowly but steady. Sure, he was still sad over everything that had happened and terribly missed Sandaime now, but he had to go on. Just like what Kakashi told him to.

Oh... Kakashi-san...

Iruka felt himself blushing like crazy at the mere thought of the man. Damn, he couldn't believe himself. Did he really spend a night with the jounin on the night of Sandaime's funeral? Like seriously? But it really felt so good and all. Kakashi was so tender and hot, it really drove him crazy, whenever he remembered what happened that night. It was so hot and steamy. Nothing could compare to what he felt that night. Quickly, he left the academy and tried to hide his face from the people around the way, avoiding their gaze and everything.

Walking slowly, Iruka sighed. He didn't even know where to go now. The academy was halted for awhile because of the invasion. Sure, the mission room was hectic now, what with the understaffed problem and everything. It really stressed him out a lot. This was the only day that he would be free, so he decided to spend it wisely.

And talking about wisely.

He smiled lightly at the realization that his legs brought him to the memorial stone again. And that's where he found the source of his blushes.

Hatake Kakashi. The copy ninja

Kakashi stood stiffly in front of the stone, seeming to be in a very deep thought. Iruka stopped his track, not far from the other. He placed his hand on the tree trunk while watching the older silently. He wondered what got the legendary ninja thinking about so deeply in front of the stone? The academy teacher pondered with himself, couldn't come up with a decision if he should just greet Kakashi there or leave promptly in order to provide some private space for the other.

Nevertheless, Kakashi's low and deep voice immediately put a halt to Iruka's contemplating.

"You should just come here and be by my side, you know."

Iruka rubbed his nose with a sheepish smile, feeling embarrassed that Kakashi caught him. He slowly walked toward the stone to stand beside the other and noticed Kakashi's posture has changed to be slouched now. Which meant, he has finished his deep thinking.

Iruka formed a smile as he briefly glanced to the other.

"I'm sorry. I don't want to disturb you," he spoke while his eyes searched for his parents', Hayate's and Sandaime's name carved on the stone and silently prayed for them.

"Maa, Sensei," Kakashi replied right away, "I was actually waiting for you here."

Iruka stopped his praying abruptly, "Me?"

His widened eyes searched for Kakashi's lone gaze. The older just winked at him playfully and murmured, "I... I would like to bring you somewhere this evening," he looked down the ground, unable to look into Iruka's eyes too long, "Are... Are you free this evening?"

Iruka almost lost his voice. Did Hatake Kakashi just ask him out? Trying his best to stay calm, Iruka responded, "Well... I'm... Free for the whole day... And night, too..."
