*Marinette's POV

Marinette: *in her mind* the awkward silence in Adrien's car was killing me. I had so many questions. What was he doing? Was it a good idea to tell him? I couldn't help myself I just lashed out.

Adrien: im really sorry for what happens to you Marinette but I'm glad I could find you I was really worried.

Marinette: Yeah thanks for helping me back there

Adrien: it was my pleasure, I just can't stand people like that. I would never let anyone hurt you on my watch. Never.

Marinette: *blushes*

Adrien: Oh I-I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable when I called you my girlfriend.

Marinette: *gets flustered and starts stuttering* N-No Didn't mind I, ugh I mean I didn't mind *awkwardly laughs* in fact I don't think they would've left if you hadn't said that.
*in her mind* that's right he called me his girlfriend, but why? It helped yes, but he could've just said friend, or I'm pretty sure they would've left after he punched that guy.

*flashback to when Adrien finds Marinette*

Marinette: *eyes all puffed up from crying* Great now I'm lost.

Guy 1: hey there cutie, you look lost. I'm drake

Guy 2: and I'm Dave, if you want we could help you find your way home. Better yet you could come home with us.

Marinette: *awkwardly smiles* N-No thank you *tries to leave*

Dave: *stops her* where do you think your going little lady *grabs her arm*

Marinette's mine: ugh I would so kick there butts if I was ladybug right now

Marinette: *struggling to break free from his hand* ugh let go of me

Drake: let's see what your hiding under that skirt *looks at dave* hold her tight

Marinette: *continuing to try to break free but Dave is too strong for her*

Drake: *rips her skirt*

Marinette: *screaming for help* NO Please, No let go, let go. Somebody please

Dave: *gets punched in the face by someone and falls to the ground*

Drake: *roundhouse kicked in the face*

Drake: Yo, what the fu-

Adrien: She's my girlfriend *grabs Marinette's hand*

Dave: who the hell do you think you are

Adrien: sorry, I just can't stand looking at dirty little bastards like you without my blood boiling while

Dave: Why, you little son of a bitch. I will have you wishing you were never born. You should've just stayed home with your mommy *throws a punch at him*

Adrien: how could I ever wish not to be born *dodges the punch and the kicks him in the crotch* then I wouldn't have met m'lady here *pulls Marinette closer*

Marinette: *blushing like crazy*

Dave: *limping* y-you're gonna pay for this. Just wait tell I get my hands on you

Drake: just fuck it dude, it's not worth it. She's already taken

Dave: if I ever catch yo lil bitch ass again I will fuck you up and that's a promise.

*they both walk away*

Adrien: *instantly holds her in his arms

Marinette: *hugs him back* are you okay

Adrien: Me?! I should be asking you that. Not the other way around

Marinette: I-i know but he mentioned your mom...

Adrien: don't worry I'm totally fine

{for thoose of you who don't know/watch miraculous Adrien's mother died about 1 year ago}

Adrien: Please be honest with me Marinette why did you run off, what happened. *still holding her in his arms*

Marinette: *instantly begins to cry again*
I-I don't know. Prom is only in less then 2 weeks and my life is literally a mess. *starts to hug him tighter* alya isn't talking to me anymore bad Lila is ruining my life. And with all the pressure of being the new guardi- I-I mean basically my life is a mess

Marinette's mind: keep yourself together you almost told him that you were the new guardian of the miraculous and you were ladybug

Adrien: it's okay, I'm here now and I'll never let you go

Marinette's mind: *blushing* I don't know why but the minute he said those words my tears began to fade away it's almost like I had already forgotten what had happened earlier with Alya. It isn't right for me to burden him with my problems, especially since he's gone through worse. I want to be alone right now but I also don't wanna let this moment go. I continue to complain yet I'm still here. Crying in his arms holding on as if I would never see him again. Is this what love feels like?!

Adrien: get some rest you'll need it for school tomorrow.

Marinette: wait huh?!?

Adrien: we made it to your house.

Marinette: O-o um I-uh was just Um lost in thought I guess

*flashback ends*

Adrien: don't worry you'll be fine. I'm here

Marinette: *smiles* thanks adrien *gets out car and walks into the bakery

Adrien: Wait!

Marinette: *turns around* huh
