I just sat in my thoughts for many minutes. I had so many questions. Why? How? Where? I decided to test out my wings. They stretched out of my back, with a wing span of about 4 yards. Maggie said in awe, "They're beautiful." I responded, "White as a cloud, huh?" And with that I was in the sky. I almost fell, but I got the gang of it pretty quickly. I was darting around through the sky. Then in my mind, I heard a voice that said, "Nuke, Chicago." I landed, grabbed my sword and shield, and was off.

I started flying at about 200 mph. I loved the feeling of win flowing through my hair. I was quickly accelerating, 500, 600, 790 mph. When I finally got there, I saw the plane, and got my sword out. I flew in front of the plane, and swum my sword. It sliced the thing in half. I put the shield up and a large blue dome appeared around the city, protecting it.

After the smoke cleared, I flew back to Maggie and Maria. When I finally got back, Maggie asked, "Where were you?" I responded, "Chicago. We need to find out what's an who's causing these nuclear explosions. What do you think, Magg?" she responded and said, "Probably terrorists. And don't call me Magg." I told both of them, "Get on my back." They both climbed on, and I tried to fly. I crashed back down to the ground. A white flash. There was a man in front of me, and he said, "Need help?" He gave me two pairs of wings. I gave one to Maria, and one to Maggie. He then gave Maggie a sword and shield, and Maria a bow and narrow. He told us, "You will protect them. You are now guardians." And with that, he left.

I thought, "I wish we had an easier way to communicate." A choice in my head replied, "Same." It was Maggie's voice. I told both of them to start flying around and be prepared to protect cities. I would try to find the source of the bombs. Then, we all split up, ready to do our jobs.
