Chapter 10: Of All Times!

AN: Hey guys. This chapter is kinda goofy. It I serious at times, but is silly at others. Tell me if you like it this way or want it serious all the time. Till next time!

I dashed out the door and went to the room the man told me to go to.The door was locked. Wonderful. I tried to find something to pick the lock with. The door swung open and there was a man with a woman with a gun. I was prepared to get shot when she said, "Get up Matthew. You look like an idiot." I looked up to see it was Maggie. I got up, and she handed me the gun. I gave her the knife. Maria had just exited the room and said, "What to I get? Oh wait, is it one of those things when you give your girlfriend a present for no reason? Wow neither of you are very romantic."

We dashed down the hall. We found the control room and quickly took it over. They never saw it coming. Then I remembered that one word. "Murderer." I collapsed and started shaking. "Oh my gosh what's wrong?" Maggie asked. "I'm a murderer. A cold blooded killer." Maggie looked me straight in the eye and said "You did what you had to. It's not murdering if you do it for your loved ones." I stared right back into her eyes and stopped shaking. I had to be strong. "Thank you."

I got up. There were maps of the facility on the desk. I took them an we were off. The hallways were very twisty. All of the sudden, Maria said, "I have to pee." Really? Of all times?! "Alright, both me and Maggie turned around to give we privacy. Then Maggie said, "So do I." I turned around, then thought, "Hey, I might as well take a pee break." I started peeing in a corner. This whole mission abruptly stopped to we could take a wis.

After we all finished, we took off again. "Bet the janitors gonna have fun." I said. We finally escaped. Then, I saw it. A plane. flying right toward us. It was too quick to move. Everything went black. Then, a sudden flash. There was a man standing in front of me. He had large, beautiful wings. It was an angel. He gave me a long, silver sword, and a shield. "Protect them." he said. Then, he was gone, and the plane was flying straight for us. I jumped in front of them, and raised my shield. A blue, clear dome appeared around us. The plane hit the dome, and exploded. Metal flew everywhere, but we were protected in our bubble. When the smoke cleared, the angel was there again.

"Let us walk." he said. "You may only use these weapons on one condition. You must swear to use then to save cities, and to defeat this evil that is doing this." I responded, " I swear." He said, "Since you have done so, you will receive wings. All of the sudden, pure white wings spouted out of my back. "This is the real you." he said. And with that he was gone. I now knew my purpose. I am a guardian. I protect those in need.
