"I do not tell lies."

It was pouring rain during the trip to the Sullivan residence. Aurora remained silent, her eyes watching her mate and child. Ciel looked nervous, and horror was in his eyes. She wasn't sure exactly what had the boy so afraid. Sebastian was using his midnight black wings, flying through the rain. Soma was in his arms, and Ciel was in Aurora's. She stopped midflight suddenly. "Wait! Sebastian!" Her mate paused and turned. "Angelica! Keep going! Let's go!" Aurora shook her head, blonde hair plastered to her head. "Not until you tell me what's going on!" Ciel hissed, "Nothing is going on! Aurora keep going! Soma could die if we don't-" Aurora snapped, "His wounds are not fatal! I checked! The only risk is you catching a cold! And in my care you would be fine if such a thing did happen!" She narrowed her eyes, "Now someone owes me an explanation!" Sebastian growled, "We don't have time for this!" Aurora snapped back, "Well, I'm not going anywhere until one of you tells me what the hell is going on!" Sebastian snarled and in one flap of his dark wings, he was before her, gripping her chin with one hand while Soma was over his shoulder. Aurora choked a bit, and her wings fluttered in panic as her mate glared down at her angrily, his hand clasped around her jugular.

Sebastian's voice was a harsh snarl, and in his rage paid little to no attention to what he was doing. "You will find out in due time, Angelica. Now, listen to me and do one simple thing." His grip on her strengthened and his mate panicked, flapping her wings harshly and whimpering. When no change in her mate occurred, her eyes flashed silver, and she kicked off of him, holding Ciel close in one arm before unsheathing her rapier. She was breathing heavily and panic flared in her eyes. Aurora locked eyes with her mate. "Malphas!" Her voice was a hushed whisper and fear laced it. her mate immediately softened, and relaxed. "Angelica..." He started towards her but she flew back a few paces, her rapier stretched towards him. Ciel and Sebastian's eyes widened at her action. Tears streamed down her face, "Don't come.... any closer!" Sebastian's face fell and he turned around, "Let us carry on to Sullivan's." He continued his flight and Aurora followed from a distance. Ciel noticed her small hiccupped sobs and shaken body language. "A-Aurora?" he asked, "Are you alright?" Aurora sniffled, "I- I...." She couldn't continue and he noticed how dull her eyes had become. They were a dark grey.

They were at the Sullivan residence, Sieglinde was patching up Prince Soma in an infirmary, while Herr Wolfram handed the other three blankets to warm themselves. Ciel watched as Sebastian tried to go towards his mate, only to have her shrink back a bit.

"Angelica, please, let me apologize my angel. Please." Aurora shivered as he came closer to her, standing just before her. He frowned at her shaking, and she looked at the ground. Sebastian suddenly stepped forward and swept her into his arms, holding her tightly. Aurora gasped at the movement and was shaking a bit in fear, but slowly relaxed into his embrace when she heard his frantic, worried whispering. "I'm sorry, my angel. I am so sorry." Aurora held him close, burying herself into his body. "I know. I know." Sebastian pulled away and looked down at her, cupping her face in his hand. "Please angel, forgive me. You know I would never truly intend to harm you. Don't you?" Aurora nodded, "Of course I know." She looked up at him finally, and he released the sigh he'd been holding when he saw her dark grey eyes return to their silvery blue. The same silvery blue he had long ago fallen in love with.

Ciel was watching them from afar, surprised at how Aurora could easily forgive the demon about his attitude. He watched as the light returned to her eyes, and how Sebastian held her close in his arms, resting his chin on top of her head. The demon's long, pale finger threaded easily through his mate's hair, and he was gently massaging her scalp as he held her close. There was a certain relief in the demon's crimson eyes, relief that his mate could forgive him for nearly anything, even if she shouldn't. Ciel looked up as Sieglinde came over to him, "Ciel, do you-" Ciel cut her off and shook his head, "I'm fine, thank you. But I advise you, Sullivan," he stood and handed her back the blanket Wolfram had leant him. "Do not open the door for anyone. Even if it is me." Sieglinde looked a little confused but nodded. "O-Okay..."

Aurora had been watching the exchange and looked up at Sebastian. "Sebastian, can't you tell me what's going on? What has Ciel so afraid? I've never seen him like this." Sebastian shook his head, "I'm sorry my angel. I cannot say anything. I am sworn not to." Aurora nodded slowly, "Alright." Ciel walked over to them, "Let's go." Sebastian and Aurora followed him outside. The carriage hadn't arrived yet. Ciel hissed in annoyance, "Aurora, can you fly us to the manor?" Aurora blinked, "What?" Ciel looked over, the rain plastering his blue black hair to his forehead. "Can you fly us?" Aurora nodded slowly, "Well obviously I can, but with your condition I would advise against it." Ciel snapped, "Aurora I wasn't asking about my health! Now fly us back to the manor! Quickly!"

Aurora frowned and looked at Sebastian who sighed, "Darling, please. It's important." Aurora sighed, "Very well," she unsheathed her wings and picked up Ciel. She looked at Sebastian, "Will you be flying as well or using your demonic powers?" Sebastian unsheathed his own wings and wrapped one around her, "I wouldn't miss a flight with you my angel. You know that." Ciel made a face as the demon kissed his mate on the cheek before taking flight. "Can you two seriously not do that?" Sebastian smirked down at him, "Does it bother you my lord?" He asked, flying underneath Aurora and reaching up to tug an arm around her waist, Ciel now sandwiched between them. "Does it bother you to see me with my beautiful mate?" Ciel scoffed, "Yes. When you two act all lovey dovey and can't control yourselves it bothers me." Sebastian looked up at his mate with an amused expression, "Do you hear that darling? Isn't it just adorable?" Aurora sighed, "Sebastian, for once I must ask you to cease your games. If the situation is as serious as Ciel believes it to be, then we must take every precaution." Sebastian sighed, "Very well, my angel. As you wish." Aurora sighed, "Your humor is most inappropriate. What happened to your butler aesthetic?" Sebastian wore a small smirk, "Oh I still have it my dear, but I find you much more irresistible."

The angel and demon landed before the Phantomhive estate. Aurora set Ciel down and they pushed their way through the rain and into the manor, Sebastian having removed his tailcoat to drape it over his mate. They made it inside and Aurora wrung out her hair, and pulled her mate's tailcoat over her shoulders with a small shiver.  The Phantomhive Staff came out to greet them. "Welcome home, young master!" Aurora took a towel from Mey-Rin and was drying her hair while Bardroy asked confused, "Dunno why you went out in the rain again." Ciel looked confused, "Again?" At that moment, they heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Everyone's eyes widened in shock, and Aurora could sense the fear radiating from Ciel. She stared in shock, on the stairs, was none other than Ciel Phantomhive.
