Idhaya's POV

"But how can you not give him chance! He is really talented and intelligent please Mrs. Conti, just test him. I assure you he is the gem." I said to my school principal in a pleading tone. How can she just outrightly reject him after knowing about his lack of speech?

"Look Idhaya, you are one of our amazing ex-student. When you called me and said you are bringing one student I even agreed to admit him in mid-term. But this is not possible for me. I am answerable to trustees and that kid needs special school." I glared at my principal.

"He doesn't need special school, what he needs is special support. If you and this school can't provide that then you don't have the right to advise me." I got up in anger and went out. Where I thought that my school will obviously support Enzo. Here my baby is getting insulted in front of me. Thank God, I told him to wait outside the cabin. Now, what will I say to him and Ivano?

"Enzo, let's..." I looked at the spot where I left him found it vacant. I looked around as panic started surging through my veins. Did he hear anything that happened inside? Was he upset? Oh, God! You are making my munchkin suffer a lot at this tender age.

"Enzo!" I started shouting and went into every classroom to search for him but to no avail. What should I do now? Where is he! It all happened because of me, I was stubborn to get him admitted to the school. Now I can't find him.

"Peon Uncle!" Thank God! He is the man who knows everything. He might have seen him as I already checked all the rooms.

"Oh! Idhaya? What happened?" He asked when he saw me running towards him.

"Uncle, have you seen one kid of around five years? He is the cutest kid I have ever met." I said as I wiped my tears.

"The one who came with you?" I nodded hurriedly.

"Yes. He went somewhere without informing. Do you know where he went?" I asked while hoping that he knows.

"Yes, he went with Signora Aida in the garden. Signora saw him asked me to bring him to her. I was coming to inform you but you were inside and then I had some work. Sorry." I nodded happily.

"Thank you so much, Uncle! Aida as in... My senior? Trustee De Luca's daughter?" He nodded and I ran towards the garden as fast as possible.

"Enzo!" I shouted his name as soon as I saw him sitting happily on the bench with Aida. When he heard me he ran towards me.

"Never go anywhere without informing, okay?" I hugged him while crying in happiness that he is safe.

"Idhaya? Hello." Aida came towards us and smiled.

"Hello. I am sorry if he..."

"No... No. He is very cute and lovely." She said while smiling at Enzo.

"I know. He is the best." I ruffled Enzo's hair with a smile. He tugged the hem of my dress and looked at me expectantly making me realize that how eagerly he was waiting for his admission.

"Umm... Enzo." He frowned upon my tone and left my dress.

"It's okay, baby. We will try in another school." He frowned again indicating that he doesn't believe me. He ran outside the gate and sat in the car in anger. I sighed and went to follow him.

"Idhaya. May I ask why his admission didn't happen in our school?" Aida asked making me turn. I sighed and looked at her sadly.

"He can't speak." I said.

"So what? Many people can speak but they don't know what to speak. What did the principal say?" I looked at her and hope grew in the pit of my stomach.

"She said he needs a special school. She said the trustees will object upon Enzo's admission. Aida, can you help him? He really wants a normal environment." I asked in anticipation.

"My foot! Trustees will never object. Don't worry, just bring him along. I promise you he will get his admission." I nodded happily and went to bring Enzo from the car.

"Baby, come." I said as soon as I opened the door. He shook his head in anger.

"Enzo, see that aunty? She is going to get you admitted in the school." I said and gestured him to come out, but he didn't even change his position or expression.

"Baby, don't be like this. We have to fight with determination. Remember, I said you?" I pulled him with my hand and carried him. He circled his hands around my neck.

"I am sorry. He is a bit..." I said as soon as we reached where Aida was standing. She nodded in understanding.

"Let's go champ. We will secure your admission." She said to Enzo and led us to the principal's cabin.

"Mrs. Conti." Aida said as soon as we reached in the cabin.

"Ms. De Luca?" Aida baffled her, I think.

"May I ask on what grounds Enzo's admission wasn't permitted by you?" She asked and my god! Principal literally started sweating.

"Actually, you... know how trustees will..."

"I am also a trustee and need I remind you I have more of a say than anyone. And if you want to reject someone than let that be some ethical reasons. I demand you to test Enzo and if he is capable then you sign your resignation letter and leave. I can very well handle my father's school after you." She said and took Enzo from me.

"Give him questions." She said and that's when I noticed how changed this Aida is. The Aida I knew was always silent and mellow and intelligent. This Aida is stong, bold, intelligent and demanding too.

"Aida... I"

"Ms. De Luca for you. My father started this school for helping all the children grow and you converted this school into commercial hub! My Father trusted and I had no say because you were at some point my teacher. But if you think that making students loose their confidence in themselves will work everytime then you are wrong. What you did to me once was enough and still look at present scenario. You are still under my employment and on the flip of my finger you will thrown outside this school. That should explain that with whatever ability we have or we don't have, but with determination we can win the world. Now test him!" Aida said angrily.
