The world was not innocent.
Surrounding it's maple-tree forests with moss inhabiting the wood, grassy areas filled with fresh breezes, and light years worth of bodies of water spraying salt-water air into its atmosphere, was the Earths most poisonous and vile creatures. Cut from the same cloth as the Devil, came wolves, vampires, witches, and a restless amount of brutes who enjoyed watching their inferiors suffer with a raging hellfire in their palms. Cracklings bones, blood spilling from mouths of innocents and the guilty, the bombs sent ablaze with the mere flick of a hand. Everyone was not burdened with shame, each heart drowned within a black paste and gruesome liquid. Oh, it was all folklore, until you got a taste.
Kai Parker was the after party, what came post-havoc and in desperate need of a wail to the heavens (or hell!). He was the burdened soul entrapped with coils and metal wire, locked in a steel cage with no escape. He was the Devil's incarnate, and a worshipper of the darkness. His razing crimson eyes and sickening grin seizing the lands of those who were once almighty. Kai Parker was not an innocent, and his stained gore-y fingers told the tale dangerously and in magnificent wonder. Glory and gore go hand in hand, isn't that the saying?
Tasked himself with the undefinable mission of slaughtering someone special to lace his words with venom, to show exactly whothe world was ridiculing and taunting at. He needed the perfectly innocent, perfectly naive, and perfect glisteningly pure soul who could never cause any harm. . .
It was Kai Parker's mistake in choosing Genevieve Golding.
