I quickly jolted upright, swiping the alarm off on my phone. I rubbed my hands over my face before looking beside me on the bed. Oliver laid on his side, trying to snuggle into Zander, but his stomach kept him at a distance. Zander was blinking slowly up at the ceiling, but his hand had found its way onto Oliver's growing stomach. I couldn't help but smile at my pregnant mate, letting my hand trail onto his stomach as well. He had to be only a month along, but his stomach was already so big. Leo said it was normal with potentially two alpha pups , so we could only trust in what he had to say. Zander slowly started trying to get up, causing our mate to stir. He rolled over and looked up at me, his face scrunched up, him obviously not wanting us to get out of bed. I brushed some hair out of his face before kissing his forehead. "Go back to sleep," I whispered to him. He sighed before repositioning himself, burying himself between both Zander's and my pillows. Zander and I started to get dressed quietly, not wanting to wake up Oliver.

Zander and I snuck out of the room without waking him up. I peaked into Mason's room to see him still fast asleep. "Why are we even up this early," Zander asked me, his whisper making it slightly hard to hear him. "Crescent Moon won't be here for at least another two hours." I started walking downstairs and opened the fridge, tossing an apple to Zander before grabbing out the orange juice.

"I want to make sure everything is ready for the visit today. They're supposed to stay past lunch, so I wanted to talk to the crew in the kitchen about what they plan to make," I told him as I poured my juice into a cup. I got out a piece of paper and pencil and started writing a note to our mate before signing it. I handed it over to Zander and he looked at it confused. "It's just telling Oliver if he'd like to join in in the meeting, we'd be in the office at the pack house. He is the Luna after all."

Zander nodded before writing his own message at the bottom of the paper. "Yeah," he said with a frown etched on his face making me look at him curiously. He looked up at me and sighed, his hand scratching the back of my head. "I just have a bad feeling about today. I don't know. What if they decide to start war instead of create a treaty with us? I don't want Oliver there if that goes down."

I nodded at him before finishing my juice. "That's a possible risk, but everything will be fine. We can't just exclude him on an off chance there's a threat. He's the Luna. He has every right to be there," I told him. He nodded, looking away from me. "If it comes down to it, you protect our mate and I'll fight whoever dares to hurt him." Zander nodded again at my words. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. When he looked up at me, I could see that he honestly was worried about today. "I'm sure everything will be fine. Who knows, maybe Oliver won't even show up to the meeting."

After Zander finished his apple, we went outside and shifted into our wolves. It didn't take long to encounter one of the war wolves doing a round. I shifted once I got there and the red wolf shifted too revealing Quincey. She stood somewhat behind a tree to hid her naked body form us, which I respected. "Good morning, Twins. Everything is normal here so I guess I can ask; how's the pups doing? You find out their genders yet," She asked with a smile on her face. I couldn't help but smile back at her as Zander huffed.

"They don't let Oliver sleep, so I have to assume they're doing just fine. We wont find out their genders for a couple more weeks," I told her. She looked just as excited as I felt. She should be, with her own coming a few months after ours. "How's Desiree doing with hers?" I walked to the nearest tree trunk and pulled out two of the many articles of shorts out and tossed a pair along with a shirt to Quincey. She slipped on the clothes before stepping out from her spot. I slid my shorts on and started walking around the border, Zander following us as we talked.

"She's doing alright," Quincey said, a new formed twinkle in her eyes. "She is hating the morning sickness but she still excited for our little walnut." I was honestly excited for Oliver. His friends are having pups too so he's not alone in this scenario. I can imagine all the baby play dates, and I was more than ready for it all. "Her cravings are gross though. She was drinking hot chocolate with her spaghetti the other day."
