CHAPTER NINE

Be cool, focus! Think positive and then go on with the flow rather than thinking some negative things that would stress you.

"Inhale, exhale." I mumbled as I was trying to focus my attention on what I was sketching. I needed to finish these wedding gowns or else I will be doomed but why the fcking hell that man kept on lingering in my mind?!

Kasalanan niya ito eh, araw-araw nalang niya kasi akong kinukulit, araw-araw akong hindi tinitigilan, iyon tuloy; araw-araw siyang pumapasok sa isip ko, nakakainis.

I stood and raised the paper where I drew the first wedding gown I'm trying to. My forehead creased and I crumpled it because I wasn't satisfied! Damn it! This is so frustrating! That man! I'll hate him forever!

Speaking of that man. Napatingin ako sa screen ng phone ko nang tumunog na naman ang ring tone ng messenger.

@Handsome Ad: Have you eaten? Where are you?

I just seen it before looking away, what the hell is his problem?

*Ting*

@Handsome Ad: I have this hunch that you are avoiding me, woman.

I gritted my teeth before typing on the screen.

@Handsome Ad: Kapag hindi mo sa akin sinabi kung nasaan ka, anak ko talaga si baby girl.

Speaking of his baby girl. He has been calling my daughter a baby girl and my daughter doesn't seem to care, parang noon kasi ay ayaw siyang tawagin kong baby pero tingnan mo nga naman, pagdating sa daddy niya ay nagiging clingy siya.

Two months ago was Missis Vergara's birthday celebration and since then: Yanna and Adrian became close to each other. Their connection continued because of social medias.

Nagulat nalang ako sa aking natuklasan noong ikalawang pasok ni Yanna sa school niya two months ago: susunduin ko sana siya that time galing sa shop ko ngunit hindi ko siya naabutan sa classroom niya. Grabe nalang iyong kaba ko kasi wala siya sa classroom niya at kinabahan nang sinabi sa akin ng teacher na kinuha na daw siya ng ama niya. What the hell?

I remembered that time where I couldn't control my anger. Pinagalitan ko siya at binato ko siya ng maraming questions at binantaan pa. Hindi ko mapigilan eh. I am a mother and if she would be a mother someday; she would surely understand my point. May kasalanan rin naman ako kaya nagsisisi ako sa mga sinabi ko sakanya.

Pagkatapos noon ay naghanap ako sa buong paaralan na iyon, I even contacted Yanna's phone but her phone's unattended. Pinagsisihan ko talagang hindi kumujang panibagong yaya kasi naman si Sara ay umalis na sa trabaho dahil buntis, hindi ko siya masisisi kaya hinayaan ko siyang umalis.

But my worried subsided after seeing her in the school's park. She is laughing while pushing a girl on the swing and it was Hannah. I was shocked back then remembering what Adrian told me. Hannah never wanted to go in any school but there she goes playing happily with my daughter.

"They're like sisters." Someone spoke behind me the reason why I jumped.

"Ay palaka!" Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko. "Nakakagulat ka naman."

He showed me a peace sign. "I texted you on messenger, didn't you saw it? I even called you there but you're not online. I'm sorry, I had no cellphone number of yours."
