The Phone Call

Part 1

The name's Kara Harley I am a 17 year old living in England. My dream has always been to become an actress and star in marvel movies along side Chris Evans however I have never had any hope that it would really happen. Until I had gotten a phone call in my french lesson from the man himself Joe Russo saying that he had seen my performance in my latest school musical and that he thought I would be perfect for a new up coming marvel character. I should probably start my story the day I got the call ,buckle up.

Kara Pov:

The ear piercing noise rang once again getting me up like every other morning in my life, my phone read the time 6:37 am. I knew I would have to get out of my comfy bed soon or I would never have enough time to get ready for school not like I cared I only had Chemistry, French and Drama and according to my drama teacher I would never have a shot at a carer in film so did it really matter if I didn't go to school today. To answer that question yes it would matter because I would not get to see my best friend Ellie, me and Ellie never really got on well at the start of the year but over the months we just clicked and became besties. I don't really have many other friends at school however I do have two friends outside of school their names being Dan and George and from what I have been told they both have a crush on me but I feel like it would be strange to go out with either of them because I would have to pick between them and I don't think I could do that to either of them.

I slowly made my way out of my bed, walked over to my wardrobe and grabbed a grey pencil skirt and a matching grey blazer to go with it also grabbing a black blouse to hopefully matching the whole look i am going for. After getting all my clothes on I sat down at my desk applying a little bit of foundation and mascara onto my face , I then straighten my mid-length brown hair as like every morning it was like I had been dragged through a bush backwards. By the time I had done all of that the time was now 7:10, i practically jumped down the flight of stairs because why not. I walked my cute ass over to the kitchen to make me some plain oatmeal, yes I know I am boring but deal with it. I soon finished my oatmeal and then headed back up stairs so that I could brush my teeth after doing so I put a cute black pair of flats on said bye to my mom and walked to my friends who was taking me to school as I still had not passed my drivers test I had failed it twice already.

I arrived at Olivia's it was only a 5-6 minute walk so nothing to complain about yet . However I did have to wait outside her house for like five minutes and in England's that is for sure not a good thing. After what felt like years of wait for her to come out the house we both hoped into the car and starting to make small talk. We may or may not of had a small argument on how bad her music taste was she does not even like Arctic Monkeys how rude. We had soon arrived at school and went our separate ways as we did not have a share lesson until drama. I walked my ass over the lab 7 chemistry as soon as I entered the room my eyes soon landed on my boyfriend, Mike it seemed as if he was chatting up the girl next to him Emily urgh I never liked her she had always been after Mike even after we had started to date. I made my way over to them move passed Emily and sat next to Mike giving him a kiss on the cheek hopping to make the quote on quote bitch jealous however it did not seem to do that it just made Mike annoyed at me for no reason at all, man could he really get on my nerves whenever I tried to do something nice for him he always seemed to hate whatever I did.

Not long after entering the teacher had soon entered the class set all his stuff up for the lesson and at some point started the lesson but I am almost 100% sure that i fell asleep. I woke up just as it was my year groups time to go for breakfast. As my class reached the food hall I made my way over to where me and my friend Ellie sit every single day. She was already there when I sat down as soon as I sat down she began talking about Tom Holland's most recent post on Instagram " Have you seen his new post he looks so damn amazing in it and u can't convince me otherwise like have you seen it" she said it with the biggest smile I had ever seen before. "No I have not seen his new post we both know I am not obsessed with him its just you" I said this in one of the most sarcastic tones. She turned to look at me with the most disappointed frown on her face I already knew what she was about say " Its not like you can say much u are completely obsessed with Chris Evans and he is so ugly" I was not able to form any words into my mouth but that when it hit me to say " how blady dare you" (a little inside joke.) The rest of our conversation consisted of us back and forth calling each other obsessed. This carried on for a good few minutes and by the time the convo was finished breakfast was over. As we got up from the table Ellie moved to the left side of me and said "On your left" and power walked off, how could she say that it drove me up the walls.

Everybody had made their way back up to lesson including me. I had sat my ass down next to Mike but for the rest of the lesson he never spoke to me and only talked to Emily oh how much I wanted to kill her, joking ....... unless.

Finally it was time for french with Ellie the lesson would for should be full of us talking about Tom Holland, Chris Evans, Teen Wolf and Marvel of course. I walked into the lesson Ellie not far behind me we both sat down right next to each other and began our normal chit chat and soon after the lesson had started. We were now about half way through the lesson when my phone started going off how could I forget to turn it off i quickly as the teach if I could possibly take the phone call outside the class room as it had been a private number the teacher being as nice as she is said "of course try not to take to long". I quickly made my way out of the class answering the phone on the 3rd ring the person on the other end of it started the convo by asking "Am I speaking to Kara Harley" i was a bit stranged out by why they wanted to speak to me but I went along with it anyway. "Yes this is her do u mind if I ask why you would like to speak to me?" they soon responded with" "It is Joe Russo, i am calling you because I saw you in your most recent musical at your school and I was wondering if you would considering taking a role with us as a brand new marvel character in the MCU as you have all the things we are looking for the looks and the talents". It took me a few seconds to understand what he had just said that he is Joe Russo and he wants to give me a job, I could not believe it , my dream was really coming true I knew I had been silent for a bit so I replied "I would love too!" he was soon to respond " Ok great I will send a script out to you as soon as possible you will be playing the role of Remy Heart, Captain America's new love interest I will work out more of the details out with you and your parents at a later date so for now goodbye, Oh and Robert wanted your number so I hope you don't mind that I gave it to him" I sat down in my seat , shocked.
