"See i don't think you are because someone who's fine wouldn't have a blocked nose and cough every five seconds" Noel said
"I feel fine" you said as you stood up but basically fell back down on to the bed again within seconds
"yeah and the walrus was Paul" he said bluntly
you didn't answer. You were upset because this was the only day off you and Noel had on the same day and you had plans to go watch this new film at the cinema.
"Sulking won't make you better darlin'"
"We can still watch a film if you want i'll go to the shops and pick up some popcorn and then i can come home and plug the telly in upstairs" he said
You nodded and smiled at him as the cold you had made your throat hurt and it made it difficult to talk.
"I'll go now then" he said as he kissed your forehead
About twenty minutes later he came back with two full shopping bags of a load of snacks that could last you weeks. He brought up the spare telly you had from your old flat in Manchester and plugged it in. He switched on the telly and the first thing that came on was the news and you burst out laughing. You were having an actual laughing fit but Noel wasn't amused.
You were laughing at what was on the news. Just Noels face and the fact that the British paps had nothing better to do than take photos of your boyfriend just trying to shop in peace

"what's with the thumbs up" you managed to get out between laughs
"well i didn't know what else to do! I usually just tell them to fuck off but i just wanted to get out of there"
You started laughing again
"well at least i've made you feel better" he said
He put the DVD of your choice in the DVD player and climbed back into bed beside you. You snuggled right up to him as your cold made you feel like you were in a freezer or something.
By the end of the film you and Noel had both fallen back to sleep and you just stayed in bed for the rest of the day.
