After a stunt gone wrong, Bella suggested that the two of them go live in Forks with her father for a slower change of pace along with saving her poor mother from the mountain of stress Mateo tends to cause.
In Washington, Mateo was expecting a slow year and a half full of boredom until he graduated, maybe gain a friend or two to put his aunts mind at ease. But what he wasn't expecting was the Cullen's, a beautiful yet mysterious family at Forks High School. Or more specifically Jasper Hale, the blond haired southerner who seemed to effortlessly capture the daredevils attention.
