When I got to my training camp ever single soldier was standing in a single file line and I could feel them staring at me. I was about to run out of the base when a drill sergeant started yelling in my face telling me to get in line. I started thinking to myself how was I going to survive this training camp for 6 months of getting yelled at by drill sergeant's! All of the sudden the line started moving and me and the recruits who were told to get in line by the soldiers were assigned are barracks. My number was E-7 which stands for east hall rack-7. After the long day of getting yelled at and told were to go by drill sergeants, it was lights out. The next day we were given laser tag guns for a training exercise. Since the weaponry didn't shoot live ammunition we were able to shoot each other in any part of the body. There was two teams, blue and red. The blue team that I was on had won the game. Then we shot some real weapons in a live ammunition exercise. Believe it or not 6 months went by pretty fast. At the graduation my name was the first to be called and I earned a trophy for best training cadet and squad leader. The man who called out my name said it pretty loud. JHON MARSHALL! I got to see my family but soon enough it was time for deployment, I asked the military officers why we had deployment and they said we were going to war!
