Chapter Eight: Down the Rabbit Hole

Napamura si Marcella nang makitang nawala si Finn sa harap. The other players also expressed their surprise and confusion. Tinanong lang nila ito kung ano ang nakuha at bigla na itong nawala! Amidst their panic, Kairo whistled.

"That must be one of the benefits." aniya. "Maybe it's to proceed before all of them?"

Marcella clenched her fists. That's even worse! Now, Finn has a higher advantage of clearing this city.

The gates once again opened. Pumasok ang ibang mga players mula sa second city. What welcomed them was a group of strong players standing above a cliff. Sa harap nito ay ang roof ng isang tower. Behind that is a vast land filled with destroyed buildings and abandoned streets.

When the system counted them off, only two players remained in the Armory. Isang mensahe ang lumabas sa harap ng mga players. It was the introduction to the city and the game instructions.

Muling namuo ang inis sa katawan ni Marcella nang mabasa iyon. This city tackles the level of a player, and it will be determined through travelling down the tower. The lower the player goes, the higher their level is. It would be fine to assume na ang bawat floor ay nagco-constitute ng level.

For example, arriving at the tenth floor would imply that you're already Level 10. Kasama na nito ang benepisyo na maaring gamitin ng player sa pagtapak sa level na 'yan.

Players are free to exit any floor they want, ngunit ang level na nakuha nila ay siyang magiging level na rin nila all throughout the city unless they encounter something that can change it. Kaya naman ang natural na thought process ng mga tao ay bumaba sa floor na pinaka-kaya nila.

And now, Finn has an advantage, having to proceed in whatever floor without going through the top. Mas mabilis itong makakababa dahil sa hindi nagamit na stamina 'di gaya nila.

Congratulations, Rogue! You have learned the skill, Rain of Daggers. You can summon up to a hundred kunais in the sky and direct them down to your enemies.

The skill can only be used twice per every city. The cooldown time varies on the number of daggers summoned. The minimum CD is twenty minutes.

Muling pinalibot ni Finn ang tingin sa paligid. It could be that skills are given the lower one goes. Pwede ding naibigay na ito sa kaniya dahil natapos niya na ang Floor 5. Baka may specific floor lang ito. Siguro ang next na skill ay magpapakita sa Floor 10.
