Seonghwa tried to find San in the crowded garden while being followed by Jimin. All of a sudden, Jimin felt Seonghwa's hand grabbing hers and holding it firmly. Her heart skipped a beat, but quickly snapped out of it thinking he just did that so that she won't get lost in the crowd.

"San! Happy birthday, brother!" Seonghwa yelled in order to be heard over the music.

A man dancing to the rhythm of the music stopped and hugged Seonghwa. "Thank you, Seonghwa!" His gaze fell on Jimin. "Is this your bride?"

Before Seonghwa could speak, Jimin answered the other man on her own. "Yes, I'm Lim Jimin. Happy birthday and nice to meet you," she bowed.

San giggled and smirked cheekily. "She speaks up for herself. I like that. Well done, Seonghwa."

Jimin didn't quite like that guy... His behaviour was kinda rude. He didn't even replied to her and kept talking about her to Seonghwa as if she wasn't right there. Even Seonghwa felt uneasy with his friend's words. He just laughed awkwardly, bowed to San and walked away, still holding Jimin's hand.

"Sorry about that. San is kind of... strange... Do you want a drink, not alcohol though. You are under age."

"I don't drink alcohol anyways."

"Glad to hear that," he said and got to the buffet.

Jimin took a glance around the party. She wondered if all these men were Ganghans...

"Is that Park Seonghwa's bride?"

She heard a girl talking to someone else about her. She didn't turn around and continued eavesdropping their conversation.

"I saw both Park and her at the dorm this morning. I heard she won't be staying at the dorm..."

"How scandalous!"

"I know, right?! She couldn't wait till the wedding... For goodness' sake!"

That's when she turned her head and glared at them. Both girls gasped and walked away.

Jimin sighed and rushed out of the party. She couldn't understand why they were being so harsh and jumped to conclusions so easily... They knew nothing about her!

"Jimin!"

She heard Seonghwa calling out her name. She turned around to face him. He was jogging towards her with a glass of orange juice and a bottle of soju.

"Where are you going?" he said.

"I didn't felt so well... Could we go back home?"

"Y-yes, yes, of course!" Seonghwa agreed concerned. "Can you walk back home? I can borrow a car-"

"No, I'm fine. I want to walk and breathe some fresh air."

They walked back home silently, Seonghwa not daring to ask his bride what happened. He accompanied her up till her bedroom.

"Well, goodnight..."

"Goodnight," Jimin murmured.

Then Seonghwa turned to leave, but Jimin's voice cut him off. "Seonghwa!"

He looked at her.

"Ah... Nothing. Sleep well..." Jimin murmured and got in her room shutting the door behind her.

Once she sensed the darkness and the emptiness of the huge bedroom, she rushed to turn on the lights and she exhaled relieved.

"Jimin, you can do this. You are a brave girl. You won't get scared..." she comforted herself.

She changed clothes and wore a new pair of  yellow pyjamas. She brushed her teeth and hoped on her enormous bed.

"I'll just sleep with the lights on..." she murmured and tried to get some sleep.

But it was almost impossible for her to sleep. When she finally managed to close her eyes for a while, a terrible nightmare disturbed her short nap causing her to scream terrified. Her face was all sweaty and tears had fallen from her eyes.

Seonghwa, wearing his blue striped pyjamas, pushed the door wide open and looked at the scared girl with a dead worried look.

"What happened? Have you had a nightmare?"

Jimin nodded sniffing. "Seonghwa...?"

"Hmm?"

"Can you stay here tonight, please?"
