"Rude" I just said while getting water to swallow the pill

I don't know how there's people that swallow pills without water, they're not humans I swear

"Hey, Uhm about yesterday" oh no I don't want this to go that way

"You can forget it, everything about yesterday was shit so lets just forget it and not talk about it" I cut him off, but when I said that he seemed hurt?

"Yeah you're right, everything about yesterday was shit" he put the plates on the table harshly

Did I did something wrong? I think I'm doing us a favor to try and forget my humiliation yesterday

"Listen I know you hate me, but now that you've got me involved in this mess I'm clearly going to see you more so why don't we forget the past and try to tolerate each other, because I mean now we're together in this, so we could be like, I don't know friends?" I told him, probably being his friend isn't that bad

He put some pancakes in my plate while I sat down, and he does the same in his plate

"Friends?" He frowns

"Yeah I mean, or do you hate me that much to not even try to tolerate each other by being friends? And I'm not saying being the best of  friends, hanging around and all that, I'm just thinking of simple friends like we won't try to make something bad to each other when we see each other"

"All right friends" he glared at me

"You know friends don't usually give you the I'll kill you look right?"

"What, your friendship comes with a manual of what I can and can't do?" He said angrily

"No, just forget it" I sighed and he stand up to grab something else from the kitchen

Then he came back with a strawberry milkshake, and a chocolate one

"Oh I love strawberry milkshake, thanks" I smile at him

"I know" wait what?

"I'm sorry?" I asked confused

"I saw you bought the strawberry milkshake when we went to the diner, so I figured you liked strawberry" he explains

Oh that's why he knows, still it's sweet of him to do this for me

"Oh yeah, well thank you" I eat my pancakes and I swear this man does the most wonderful pancakes

"This is delicious" I told him

"I know, i can hear your mouth orgasm" he smirked

And I choked on the pancakes

He starts laughing because I was completely shocked

"Relax Rose, it's just a joke" he smirked more while drinking his chocolate milkshake, looking me directly in the eyes

"How funny" I sarcastically said

"Well today we have to stay here because they're here" damn, the people who wants to kill me are in the same place as us

"Wait what's their name?" I asked Ashton

"Sorry?"

"Their mafia, how are they called, I know you're Rois, but what about them?" I said

"Oh, uh, it's not a great idea for you to know their name, it's dangerous" he explained

"Well I'm already in danger"

"I'm not going to tell you" he shrugged

"What? Why? I deserve to know at least the name of the mafia who's trying to kill me"
