"Morning." Myla's cheerful voice rang out as she walked into the Med Bay.

You glanced up from the tray of medical tools you had been cleaning and preparing for the day ahead. You smiled at the sight of her, her joyful spirit was contagious.

"Hi, morning." You greeted back to her.

She held two paper cups in her hand, extending one toward you. "Coffee? I stopped by the café on my way."

You graciously took the cup from her, inhaling the sweet nutty aroma. "There's a café? I didn't know that."

"You've really got to get out of your room more. We'll grab lunch from there one day and I'll show you around." Myla maneuvered around you and entered the break room with you following behind her.

You watched as she placed her belongings into a locker. You've officially been on board Starkiller for one full week now, well, that is as a normal person at least, not including the days spent locked in a cell as a prisoner.

You spend your days working in the Med Bay alongside Myla, and most evenings you are able to catch a late dinner in the cafeteria with Zeta and Lincoln after work. If you weren't so anxious to get back home, you'd admit to actually liking this place a little.

It's also been one full week since you'd last seen the Supreme Leader. You had heard from some soldiers passing by in the hallway that he was on a mission. You weren't sure when he'd be back.

You'd never admit it to yourself, but apart of you wondered what he was up to, where he was... was he safe?

You shook your head, trying to rid of the thoughts coursing through your mind.

He had tortured you, physically hurt you... but yet you still found yourself thinking of him. Something abut him intrigued you; he confused you. One minute he's strangling you to the near point of death, and the next he's complimenting you on the scrubs you wear.

There are so many layers beneath him that you want so desperately to peel away one by one, and study him from the inside-out. But what would happen to you if you did?

"Ow!" The voice yanked you from your daze. You were finishing up hooking an IV to a soldier who had come in with severe dehydration when you lost yourself in your own mind. Something that has been happening to you a lot lately.

You glanced down at his arm where you had missed his vein.

"Sorry." You mumbled, your cheeks blushing as you focused on inserting the needle into his vein correctly this time. Myla was going through the soldier's chart, marking his vitals down as Frost opened the curtain to join the both of you.

Frost was the only Doctor on Starkiller. As big as the base was, the medical staff definitely lacked. He's good at what he does though, he knows how to run the Medical Bay without being an asshole. You couldn't say the same about Duncan and the E.R. back home.

"Everything going alright?" He asked, glancing between you and Myla.

Myla kept her face buried into the chart, as you turned toward Frost, nodding. "Yes, sir. Just finishing up this IV port, everything else looks fine." You answered.

"Good." He nodded, trailing off as he turned toward your friend and coworker. "Myla, can you help me with something?"

Myla lowered the chart, taking a glance at you. You were unable to read her expression before she turned around. "Yes, sir." She spoke quietly as she followed Frost.

You moved around the privacy curtain to watch curiously as the pair entered through a door you had yet been through while the rest of the Medical Bay went unnoticing. You furrowed your eyebrows and turned toward another fellow nurse walking past.
