Milo: does it feel better?

Y/n: a little

*I put my arm around him and he leaned against me, I felt all his muscles relax at my touch*

Milo: I love you

Y/n: I love you too, will you sing to me?

*I started singing to him and he fell asleep a while later so I went to sleep too, when I woke up y/n was awake doing something on his phone*

Milo: what are you doing up so early?

Y/n: I didn't know it was early

Milo: check the time

Y/n: oh it's 5?

Milo: yeah, c'mon give me goodmorning kisses please

*y/n put his phone down and leaned on my chest and gave me kisses all over my face. I said that as a joke because usually I'm up before him*

Milo: how long have you been up baby?

Y/n: I don't know, just couldn't sleep

Milo: any particular reason?

Y/n: nope

Milo: ok

*the doctor walked in*

Doctor: so y/n, we have some good news

Y/n: ok

Doctor: the surgery was successful, the cancer is slowly losing its fight, but you'll have to do a lot more treatments and start taking chemo pills at home.

Y/n: ok, and whenever or if I ever want to stop treatments I can right?

Doctor: yes, that is an option.

Y/n: ok so if it gets to be too much for me, I'll just stop

Doctor: ok, also you can go home today after a few tests

Y/n: ok

*the doctor walked out and I hugged y/n*

Milo: I love you

Y/n: I love you too

Milo: I'm tired still

Y/n: you can't go to sleep yet

Milo: ok I won't

*y/n leaned into my chest and took in a big breath, they ran the tests and then we went to y/n's house*

Y/n: I'm so happy to be home

Milo: I'm happy you're home too

*Y/n hugged donut (his favorite stuffed animal)*

Milo: I love you

*I laid next to him, on his bed*

Y/n: I love you too

*his alarm went off for his new meds that we picked up on the way here. I got them out of my backpack and handed him them with my water*

Y/n: thanks

*he took his meds then laid back down*

Milo: wanna watch something?

Y/n: can we go jump on the trampoline?

Milo: you shouldn't be doing much activity right now, the doctor said to rest for a few days

Y/n: *sighs* why do you always have to listen to doctors?

Milo: because, that's what you should do

Y/n: but technically, you're not the boss of me

Milo: that's true but-

*I was cut off by y/n standing up and running down the stairs*

Milo: babe!

Y/n: let's play tag! You're it!

*he ran out the front door, as Ash was trying to walk in. Ash grabbed y/n's shirt to stop him from falling but it jerked his head in an awkward position*

Y/n: Ow! Fuck!

Ash: no more running

Y/n: Fuck off

*he stood up completely and held his head in pain*

Ash: oh fuck!

Milo: what?!

*I ran over and looked at y/n's head, the patch that was on his head to cover the stitches came off, luckily we were supposed to change it soon anyways*

Y/n: I-I'm ok

Milo: did he hit his head on you or anything?

Ash: no that's his normal stutter

Milo: I know but we still need to know

Ash: oh, no he didn't

Y/n: just both of you shut up for a second, you're being too loud

Ash: the doctor said this is a normal symptom, especially if he's being active and running around

*y/n leaned on the wall and slid down it, me and Ash immediately kneeled down to him*

Ash: are you ok?

Y/n: I'm fine, stop yelling please, god damn.

*I picked y/n up and carried him to his room, I put another patch on his head and helped him take his leg off before he stopped me*

Y/n: I'm sorry for yelling at you, and making you worry

Milo: baby it's ok, you're in pain, I understand.
