A Thin Line Between Love and Crazy

"Look at my girls" their father let out in happy tone. "It's only one missing." He looked up to and ran his hand over his heart.

"Daddy..." both Ming and Onika said in unison.

"I'm okay my babies yall know just seeing y'all together makes my old bones a little emotional." He smiled assuring them he was fine before making his way back to his seat in the living room.

As Ming and Onika set the table they heard the front door opening.

"That's you baby?!" Ming called out

"Yea Ma!" Keenon's voice called out.

Onika's eyes grew wide at the sound of his voice.

So much for smooth sailing, She thought to herself.

When Keenon entered the dining area tensions built up instantly between him and Onika immediately. They both just stared each other down.

"Waddup TT." Keenon said still staring her down.

"Keenon." Onika nodded her at him.

Ming just looked at them like they were a bit crazy.

"Go tell papa the table set and we bout to eat." Ming said to Keenon.

Keenon left the dining area to return shortly side by side with his grandfather.

Onika and Ming had already seated them selves. Keenon and his grandfather didn't take long to seat themselves.

After the family said grace they all dug in. Dinner was kinda weird today and Ming could feel tension between her sister and her son. Her and her father had been the only two really conversing.

"Where is my other baby at?" Ming asked.

Everyone in the room knew exactly who she was talking about.

Both Keenon and Onika stopped eating and took glances at eat other.

"I don't know ma, me and Bey not cool no more... but TT might know." Keenon said while staring his aunt in the eyes.

"Keenon." Onika warned him.

"What?! What do you mean you and Bey not cool anymore what happened?! And why in the world would Nicki know?" Ming was throwing out questions.

"Well TT" he nodded his head toward his mother waiting for Onika to say something else.

"Keenon stop." Onika said giving him begging eyes.

She didn't want them to find out like this she wanted them to be comfortable before she told them about her and Beyoncé.

"You a grown ass woman right?" He said

"Now Keenon! I don't know what is going on between you two but you will talk to your elders with respect!" Ming scolded her son.

"I'm sorry ma but I guess TT don't wanna tell y'all how her and Bey been sleeping together." Keenon said making everyone go silent.

If looks could kill Keenon would have been labeled as a homicide from the death glare Onika was giving him.

"WHAT!" Both Ming and her father shouted together.

"Onika! Is that tru—"

"Since we being so honest right now how bout you tell them the real reason you and Bey not cool?" Onika cut her sister off while tilting her head at her nephew.
