033 ❘❘ Memory 5 (Part 2)

"Luffy! This was you, after all! How do you always end up in trouble?" the blonde said, shaking his head.

"Ohhhh!" Upon seeing these two particular friends, Luffy's face lit up with excitement, his heart swelling with joy. "There's no mistaking it this time! I really missed you guys!" he happily shouted, bounding forward to greet them, his laughter ringing like a joyous bell.】

"...so he mistook us for those imposters!?" Franky's voice boomed, indignation flashing across his face. His arms crossed, he huffed, puffing out his chest as he pouted. The imposter who'd dared copy him looked nothing like him, not even close.

Brook's bony frame swayed with laughter, his voice a musical chuckle. "Yohohoho. Luffy-san's not the sharpest tool in the shed."

Sanji's glare was sharp enough to cut through the mirror. "How could he!? That imposter doesn't even resemble me!" His dramatic gestures made the others snicker.

Before Zoro could muster a response, Nami's elbow slammed into his side with practiced precision. Zoro flinched, a grunt escaping him, and shot her a glare.

"Don't you dare speak," she muttered, her voice low but razor-sharp, never even looking at him. Zoro grumbled, arms crossed, as the laughter and chatter around them filled the air.

【Sentomaru's eyes widened, a spark of recognition flaring within their depths as they locked onto the familiar figures.

"Roronoa! Black Leg! So they really are alive!" The annoyance in his voice was palpable, as if he had stumbled upon lost enemies after a long battle. His gaze darted to the last Pacifista lumbering forward, its metallic frame glinting ominously under the harsh light.】

"Of course I am." The voices of Zoro and Sanji rang out in perfect unison, each tone laced with confidence. They turned toward each other, a momentary glance passing between them, an unspoken understanding forged in countless skirmishes. Then, they returned their focus to the approaching threat, their bodies taut with anticipation.

【"PX-7!"

The name echoed through the air, heavy with menace as the Pacifista loomed, its face a hollow mask of indifference.

"Ha?!"

Zoro's scoff was rough, the sound dismissive, while Sanji's tongue clicked in frustration. Without another word, they surged forward, their movements fluid and instinctive. Strikes blurred, a deadly dance of precision.

"Move it!"

Zoro's sword whistled through the air, cleaving toward the Pacifista's torso. Sanji's kick collided with its midsection, a powerful blow that sent the mechanical beast crashing to the ground, the tremor vibrating beneath their feet.

Zoro shot a glance at Sanji, triumph lacing his voice. "I cut him down."

Sanji's glare was sharp, a flicker of rivalry in his eyes. "I broke his neck!"】

"How stupid..." Niji's voice sliced through the air, sharp and mocking. Sanji bristled, annoyance flaring, but he bit his tongue. Arguing with Niji was pointless, he was too absorbed in his own arrogance to care..

【Amidst the chaos, the pirates, duped into following the impostor Straw Hats, suddenly screamed in terror and realization.

"It's the Straw Hat Pirates! The real ones!"

Their cries echoed like a rallying war cry, the energy shifting from fear to hope.

"They're nothing like the fakes!"

The Pacifista PX-7 shattered in a violent explosion, fragments scattering. Zoro and Sanji didn't spare a glance at the wreckage. Their eyes locked on their Captain, drawn to his magnetic presence.

Zoro smirked, breaking the silence. "Hey, Luffy, you're ninth."

"I remembered that," Zoro teased, his words pushing Sanji's patience to its limit.

"Shut up!"

Frustration boiled over, but beneath the irritation was the warmth of camaraderie, the kind of annoyance only friends could provoke.

Sanji's lips twisted, annoyance creeping up his throat. "Shut it, you! Stop bragging!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. His expression softened as he turned to Luffy, pointing toward the ship. "Hurry up, Luffy! Everyone's waiting!"

"Right!" Luffy's voice rang out, charged with enthusiasm as he dashed forward, eager to reunite with his crew.】
