Living is easy with eyes closed.
That's what you and they say,
and it's true.
But, just me, I prefer it to be like that.
With my paganism, shy, sensitive and
here,
I prefer to live just like that.
'Cause enlightenment
comes with the realization that
you'll never be the same.
And I like who I was before all that.
Living is easy with eyes closed.
That's all I will ever say.
Because I don't know how many more
poems I am going to write right here,
in bed,
alone,
in my only home,
before I'm forced to leave
and go away.
