Kaoru: you're just mad cuz my softball throw was better than yours, boom-for-brains

Aizawa: that's enough you two
Next is Izuku's turn, has he stepping up to throw I genuinely prepare to massacre everyone for laughing at him. I just know that he won't make it, but at least he tried. As he's about to throw, his arm glows with some strange energy
Robot: 46 meters
Izuku looks down at his hand confused as Aizawa now has glowing red eyes while his hair and scarf starts floating
Aizawa: the judges for this exam were not rational enough
Kaoru: hold on....where have I seen that scarf and goggles.....
After a little bit of thinking I realize who this man is
Izuku: you're the erasure hero: eraserhead!
Kaoru: oh yeah, that guy
Iida: I wonder if our teacher is giving him some advice
Bakugou: probably told him to start packing up
Kaoru: nah, I'm sure Izuku will pull through in the end
Despite me saying this, I know the reality of the situation is that Izuku likely won't be able to achieve his dream. But anyways, Izuku throws the ball yet again, this time creating a shockwave and sending it even farther than Bakugou's throw
Izuku: Mr Aizawa, I'm still standing
Aizawa: this kid...
Kaoru:*thinks* what in the hell.....not even Yuzuki could match that throw
Bakugou: Deku you bastard! Tell me how you did that or you're dead!
Bakugou rushes towards Izuku making small explosions in his hands, fortunately Aizawa uses his quirk to stop him
Aizawa: stop making my use my quirk, it gives me serious dry eye
The test continues and overall I do fairly well, I manage to get 6th place meaning I won't get expelled, Izuku on the other hand....
Kaoru: damn....sorry Izuku-
Aizawa: and I was lying, no one is going home. That was just rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests
Just then the girl I was kinda sorta looking at who I found out is called "Yaomomo" speaks up
Yaomomo: I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure it out. I guess I should've said something
Kaoru: yeah I thought something was up
Aizawa: that's it, we're done for today. Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning
Aizawa hands Izuku a slip of paper
Aizawa: take this and go have the old lady fix you up. Things are gonna be tougher tomorrow when your actual training begins. Make sure you're prepared
Kaoru:*thinks* what's up with him......I know there's late bloomers when it comes to quirks, but there's no way he got his quirk just now, way too convenient
With class now over I wait for Izuku to come out of the infirmary, suddenly Iida approaches me
Iida: I understand you're friends with Midoriya, right?
Kaoru: yeah, since we were in middle school. Why?
Iida: that Bakugou guy. He mentioned Midoriya being quirkless. But clearly today Midoriya showed a powerful move yet again
Kaoru:*shrugs* couldn't tell ya, he was quirkless when I met him. Hold on, again?
Iida: you didn't know? Midoriya destroyed one of the faux villains at the entrance exam, the one worth zero points
Kaoru: wha-
Honestly speechless, that all there is to say
Iida: are you okay? You look spaced out
Kaoru: huh? Oh I'm fine.....just wondering about something
Iida: oh there he is. How's that broken finger doing?
Izuku: it's doing fine, thanks to recovery girl
Kaoru: that's good and all. But you gotta tell me, were you really just lying about being quirkless this whole time?
Izuku: you see, turns out some people don't awaken their quirks at elementary school like everyone else, it's pretty rare, but it happens
Kaoru: kinda believable, but it just seems too convenient for you to suddenly have a quirk when you need it most....still at least you have one now. But be careful, it looks like your quirk has great power at an even greater cost
Izuku: don't worry Kaoru, I got this
The three of us continue walking just talking about random stuff until that Uraraka girl from earlier starts walking towards us
Uraraka: hey wait up you three!
She catches up to us
Uraraka: are you guys going to the station? I'll join you guys!
Iida: oh, you're the infinity girl
Uraraka: I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Let's see you're Tenya Iida. And you're....hazel eyes
Kaoru: why is that the first this people remember about me? Anyways, my name is Kaoru Shirogane, nice to meet you
Uraraka: and your name is Deku right? Deku Midoriya?
Izuku: Deku?
Uraraka: yeah, isn't that what Bakugou called you? During the tests he said "Deku you bastard!" right?
Izuku: well, my name is actually Izuku. Deku is what Kacchan calls me to make fun of me
Iida: that's unsportsmanlike
Kaoru: oh trust me, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Bakugou. He'll come up with some stupid nickname just by looking at you. I mean he's called me "scrap heap" more times than I can count
Ochaco: oh, I didn't realize that. I'm sorry. But you know what, I like Deku. It could make a great hero name. Plus I think it's kinda cute!
Izuku:*blushing* Deku it is!
Iida: just like that? Weren't you saying that it was an insult?
Kaoru: sounds like someone is in looooove
