Chapter 34

Carlos POV

"Boss, we've got him tracked down," One of my guards says. We finally have a lead on where Caleb is hiding out. We captured most of his men, leaving him vulnerable. Lily will finally be able to get revenge on that ass. But I doubt she will have the guts to kill him even though he nearly killed her. She's just too kind for this world.

"Good, where is he?" I ask to one of my me. 

"He's hiding out by Balboa Park," My men said and hands me his track.

"Get 30 men ready, we'll approach him soon," I say and he walks out of my office. I didn't forget about Lily's and my wedding, it's in 3 days. Today, I sent her to get her wedding dress with her friends and my cousin, Kassidy.

Lily's POV

My phone rings and I look at the caller to see that it's Carlos. I smile instantly from seeing his name. I pick up the call.

"Hi," I say into the phone.

"How is my soon to be wife doing?" 

"I'm doing well," 

"Did you find a dress you like yet amore?" 

"Well, we've been to a few stores but nothing yet," I sigh into the phone.

"Okay, I can't wait to see you in that wedding dress. But you should know you look beautiful in anything you wear amore,"

"Thank you. I gotta go, I love you," I say into the phone.

"And I love you a million times more," With that I end that call. 

"Was that Carlos?" Kassidy asks me. Kassidy is Carlos' cousin who he called to help me with finding my wedding dress. She's a fashion designer and suggests I tell her what I want my dress to look like and she can make it for me. 

"Yep," I say. 

"Ooooh, let's go in there," Madi says and pulls us along. We enter the shop. Beautiful wedding dresses cover the walls.

"Woah," Jules says and rushes over to all the wedding dresses.

"Hi, how can I help you ladies out?" A man in a fancy suit asks.

"Hi, we're here looking for a wedding dress," Kassidy answers.

"Anything in particular?" The man asks.

"It doesn't matter really," I say.

"Okay, well I have a few popular dress in the back if you would like to check them out?" The man asks. I nod my head.

After trying on like 10 dresses, we come upon the last dress he suggests for us. It's beautiful already. I try it on and look at myself in the mirror. I look like a princess. 

I walk out of the changing room and see Madi, Jules, and Kassidy all gawking at me.

"You look hot," Kassidy says.

"I think more beautiful than hot," Jules says with a smile.

"So, this dress?" The man asks.

I check the price to see it's almost over $1,000. My eye go wide. I love this dress and all, but it's a bit too expensive.

"Do you like it Lily?" Jules asks me. I nod my head.

"Then it's settled, this wedding dress please," Kassidy says.

"Perfect." The man says and clasps his hands.

We have finally found my wedding dress and head back home. Carlos is waiting on the couch and when we open the door, he stands up and a smile spreads across his face.

"Did you find it?" Carlos asks kissing my cheek, and wrapping his arms around me.

"Yes," I say with a blush.

"I wanna see it," He says. I look up at him. 

"You have to wait for the wedding day. It's bad luck if you see me in it before," I say laughing at his pout. I kiss is lips and he forms a smile. 

"Come, time for the wedding invitations," He says and leads me to his office. "You can choose the design if you would like," 

I look at the option in front of me. Then I decide on a floral themes one. It has flowers all around the rim. It's beautiful. 

"Are we training again today?" I ask him once we exit his office.

"Yes," he says and kisses the top of my head. I groan in response and he chuckles. "But don't worry, you will have weapons so it is least likely for you to get injure, especially with our wedding coming up," 

"Great," I say sarcastically. 

Another day of training, what could go wrong?
