"Hello again Emilia." He said with a smirk.
"Luciano." He lead me back to the bar to sit me down while sitting beside me. He ordered a drink for himself and water for me.
"What are you doing here?" He took his drink and brought it to his lips. I couldn't help it when my eyes wondered to his lips.
"I came for a drink. You?" His thick Italian accent seeped through his words, causing me to take a deep breath.
He raised his eyebrows waiting for my response. "Came with a friend." Speaking of friend I looked through the crowd seeing if I could spot Lina or Belle. I didn't see either of them so I decided that I would look again later.
"Fratello, who is this lovely lady here?" I looked up to see a brunette haired boy staring at me with a drink in his hands. It doesn't seem like they know that I speak Italian. (Translation: Brother.)
"This is my friend Emilia. Emilia this is Dante." He introduced us but Dante's attention seemed to be elsewhere I looked in the direction of his eyes to see Belle swaying her hips.
I looked back at Dante to see that he was still staring at her, it was almost as if he was in a daze. I smiled and tapped him on his shoulder. "Go talk to her." He listened to me and went over to her.
"Billionaire CEO, mafia doña and matchmaker? I must say I'm impressed." He stated with a chuckle.
Before I could give him a response Lina stumbled over to us. "Em come dance with me- who is this?" Lina asked as she started twirling her hair around her finger.
" This is Luciano my fr-" I said but I was cut of by him. "Boyfriend." He said with a smile. My mouth hanged open in surprise.
I stared at him in question but he just ignored my gaze and gave me a smile. Lina shoulders slumped in defeat. "I'm going to go home." She pointed to someone who seems to be waiting on her, she gave me a wink before leaving.
A couple minutes have passed and I was bored out of my mind. I did everything to make myself sane. Finally I took out my phone and started scrolling through Instagram when armed men burst through the doors.
Instinctively I ducked and took out my gun. One of the men moved towards me and I shot him. I was caught up in the persons in front of me a didn't notice the person sneaking up behind me.
I heard a shot go off, after assessing myself I realized that I wasn't the one that got hit. "You really need to pay more attention to your surroundings amour." Luciano was covered in blood and a woman was on the floor with a bullet trough her head.
"Capo, dobbiamo andarcene subito!" Dante shouted across the room. He was hovering over a shocked Belle as if he was shielding her from the bullets. (Translation: Boss we have to leave now!)
The four of us got up and started going towards the exit shooting people who came up to us with weapons.
We got outside to see my bodyguards caught in the middle of gun shots they killed all the men and came over to us. "Ma'am we have informed your father of the situation he says he wants you home now." They rushed out escorting us to my car before getting into their SUV .
Luciano got in the driver's seat so I had no choice but to get into the passenger's. He sped through the traffic to get to the estate.
