                                              "Why did he? I didn't want to live. I don't have a life without my parents," I cried as more tears gathered.
"Ned, the boy who was by your side when you woke up. He was about to go for a swim when he saw you drop from the highest cliff," she said as she held my hand.
"I'm sorry for the loss of your parents, but we couldn't just let you die when we could save you."
"I didn't want to be saved!"
The door creaked slowly as it opened.
"Can I talk to you?"
The boy, whom I assumed was Ned, spoke.
