1: Sakura

''If I know what love is, it is because of you''

The wind blew through your hair and the smell of fresh blooming flowers filled up your nose. It was just the two of you in a war-zone looking field. 

You smiled at him as he slowly started to fade away.

Your head pounded hard and your eyes started to flutter open, the sound of water filled your ears as you finally opened your eyes. The first thing you saw was pink sakura petals falling down, dancing infront of you, one of them landed on your nose and you quickly stood up.

Where am I?

You looked around, everything seemed so different, you shift your eyes up at the sky and see a few birds fly by and the big sakura tree infront of you, didn't even look real at first since it's beauty was too perfect for this world.

''Miss, are you ok?'' a small female voice called you and you immediately turned around at the girl, the first thing you noticed about her was her long dark hair and her red kimono.

''huh?, yeah I-I think I'm fine?'' your answer came out more like a question and you quickly touched your head as another pain crashed into your head.

''You don't look fine'' She looked at you with her gray eyes.

''Where am I?'' You looked around once again, this time a japanese looking house caught your attention and you couldn't stop admiring its beauty.

''You are on the Kamo family's property'' She looke at you confused.

''Kamo?'' You have never heard thet family name before.

Why am I here?

You were about to ask her another question when the sound of galopping caught your attention.

''oh, they are back from the hunt'' The young girl stood up and waved at the incoming men on their horses. 

You were still sitting on the ground in your lilac dress that had some dirt on it and you blinked your eyes a few times to see if the people infront of you were real or not. 

Like the girl, they were all wearing dark kimonos, some of the men had katanas around their waist and others had bows and arrows behind their backs.

Is this a movie step up or something? what is this?

''Hi miss Kamo, you look beautiful today'' a young man came towards her on his horse and the girl looked away shyly. ''Thanks''

''Stop flirting with my sister, go back to work'' you heard a male voice and you looked up at the guy. For a moment the whole world seemed to pause for a second.

He had somewhat short hair, but the front part was a bit longer and tied together at each side of his handsome face.

This guy was way too handsome for this world, and you wondered if you were allowed to even look at him for free.

He came down from his horse and you noticed that his eyes were closed, yet he could walk without any problem.

How?

The other guy gave the girl a quick shy smile and went back to his group of men. 

''What are you doing here? It's getting late'' 

''I found this girl here and I was wondering if she was ok'' The girl looked at you and so did the guy, for a quick second he opened one of his eyes and you saw a flash of red blood around his eyes, he quickly closed his eyes again.

''Who are you?'' This time his tone was cold and you suddenly felt a shiver down your spine as he walked closer.

''I-I'm y/n?'' this time your answer also came out as a question

I'm y/n?

Is this my real name?

Other than your name you couldn't remember anything about yourself or from where you came.

''Y/n? go back, you can't be on our property'' Eventhough his eyes were closed you could feel his glare.

''Let's go'' He turned around and gestured for his sister to follow him.

''But brother we can't leave her here, it's too dangerous and it's getting late'' The young girl grabbed his brother's arm but he just ignored it and walked into the house.

She gave you one last concerned look and disappeard behind the bamboo sliding door.

''What am I suposed to do?'' You slowly stood up and wiped your legs clean, you looked around one more time and noticed that it was infact getting darker. The sun was at it's lowest point and the sound of leaves could be heard as the wind rushed through them. It was also getting chilly and you couldn't help but to wrap your arms around yourself as you started to shiver from the sudden cold.

The house looked like it was the only house in this area, everything else was just open field at one side and the other side miles of forest.

You decided to stay close to the house since you were to scared to walk into the forest but also scared to go on the open field since it led to nowhere. You walked towards the small river that passed next to the house and decided to freshen up a little.

You gulped down the fresh and cold water from your palm and tapped your neck with the back of your hands.

''Now I feel even colder''

You sighed and walked towards the sakura tree again and sat on the ground, the same spot where you woke up.

Maybe if I just lay down and close my eyes, I can go back again once I open my eyes.

''ok, 1,2 and 3'' You slowly opened one of your eyes and you saw the same sakura branches.

''Why can't I remember anything?'' you felt frustrated and soon tears were rolling down your cheeks.

You leaned your back against the tree and closed you eyes.

Maybe tomorrow will be different.
