Shut up, let's check in with the two girls after Ember beat the shit out of Gabrielle's back lastnight
There was an awakening magic each day in the early morning, a sense of an old earth-spirit rekindled that seeked to knit together all that was good
In the early morning the hues of the world bloom anew is if each were a tiny flower reborn
Everyday gave forgiveness for yesterdays problems. It was a sign of a new, a blank page to write a new chapter
But could the past be forgiven every single time?
Ember stirred awake from the beaming sunlight through glass windows. For some reason it felt different than what she was accusomted to, but familiar all at the same time
The girl slowly opened her eyes to be met with the glaring sun through the parted curtains
"Fuck sakes" The brunette groaned to herself and tossed the covers over her shoulder
But the realization of lastnight's events soon came flooding in
Ember's eyes widened in panic when she felt weight on her chest. Her head turned slightly to the right to see messy blonde hair covering Gabrielle's face while the covers draped from her back and flowed down
"Shit" She hissed
Emotions made us strong, it also made us do stupid fucking shit that we might regret later down the road
But did Ember regret lastnight? Honestly, no. Not one bit
Only thing left for her to do now was sneak out of her own room without waking the blonde girl
Ember glanced down her body to see that Gabrielle's arm was slung over her chest while her legs intertwined with her own, on a normal day she'd consider this highly adorable to cuddle with her crush but this was different
Gabrielle's hands were tightly tucked under Ember's back, making it impossible for the girl to move off the bed without waking her
The brunette sighed and pressed her head against the bedrest, she really wanted to escape the morning without having a lecture or their talk to be the first thing that greets her in the morning
A cup of hot chocolate would be better
"Shit" She whispered, starting the feel the girl stirring below her
Ember stayed as frozen as possible, making sure her breathing wouldn't be loud enough to break the girl from her sleep
Although she really wanted to escape, the sight of seeing the girl she cared so much for in her arms was something else
She loved the warm feeling spreading through her body, the tiny tingles on her skin when Gabrielle's breath brushed against her arm
The blonde stopped stirring and settled even more comfortable on the girl's chest, snuggling her head under Ember's neck
The brunette couldn't hide her smile, the singer was just as beautiful when she slept as well as her normal day. No makeup was needed, just her natural beauty to the world
Ember glanced at the way the blonde's plump pink lips were parted, soft breaths left them making it known that she was sound asleep. Ember's fingers brushed over the few blonde strands that covered her girl's face and pushed it behind her ear
