Chapter 27 {There's More To It}

"We should keep that away from the Prince..." Erina sweated, nervously looking down at the paper.

"Yeah not to mention, it could easily equal to a threat" Kathryn sighed. "Though I'm totally using this poem one day" she still gotta admit that it's a pretty good poem.

Yumi nodded as well, "same" which made Erina looked at the two with a tired sigh. Her gaze soon turned to the sleeping on the bed. "Cynthia? You okay?" She gently pushed the sleeping blonde's shoulder. "C'mon, wake up, Thia"

"H-Huh? W-What are you doing here?" The sleeping beauty actually awoke and without much problem. She rubbed her eyes, still dazed from sleep.

"You didn't come when it was lunch, aren't you hungry?" Erina sighed right the cue of the girl's stomach grumbling. "Well, that answers that question but seriously..." Her emerald eyes looked at her in concern. "What made you go off like that?"

"Yeah, despite being short-temper, you don't hold a grudge" Kathryn raised a brow. "And you definitely won't go hungry for something so petty"

"Here's a cookie" Yumi whipped a packet of chocolate chip cookie. Joy emerges in those sapphire blue eyes, "thanks Yumi!" Cynthia munched on it.

"So...what's your deal with Edgar? You went ballistic out of nowhere...without it being some sort of a joke" Kathryn crossed her arm with her tone strong. Cynthia gulped at it while also swallowing down the cookie in her throat. "...w-well...you know..." She fiddled with her fingers.

"What we know? C'mon, spit it out"

Cynthia sighed, "you guys know how much...I love 2-D anime boys, right? Like who cares about real-life boys when you have them boys, right?" She smacked her lips like a little diva.

"Of course...you won't let us forget" Kathryn rolled her eyes. She still remembers how the girl would used to fangirl over very new character each week back in their past life. Good thing Keon wasn't really an extreme fangirl like Iris for anime boys.

The blonde heiress sheepishly giggled at the jab. "Yeah...well, among other thing I am very picky with who I stan. You could say I have a specific type" her eyes turned sharp and serious. "And I would never go for an already taken man!" She leapt from her bed and stood tall. "Heck, even in the game, I was more interested in Raider and Alister. Hell, even Orion had some appealed to me...." Of course now, he's just family~

"But didn't you almost finished every route except for Alister?" Erina titled her head. She recalled the blonde proudly saying she almost conquer the game.

"That was for points" Cynthia shrugged. "You know I'm aren't no homewrecker! I have no interested in another woman's man nor some cheating bast—"

"Okay okay, we get it!" Erin shut the girl's mouth.

"Well that's understandable, if I remember correctly you usually simp over single boys or aggressively stan the OTP couple" Yumi hummed, twirling a strand of hair with her finger.

"Oh so that's why you reacted badly" Kathryn had put it together. "Avelyn and Edgar are your OTP right now" she put her first in her palm.

The blonde shrugged, "well it's mostly because of Avelyn. I couldn't really care less for Edgar to be honest....but" her bangs overshadowed her eyes. "If he dares hurt her...oh lord help me, I'll—"
