"Okay, okay! So, the Yule ball is...how many days away did you say?" Noemi put her knees to her chest. "Ten days away." Sam drummed her head onto the blanket. The B.B were out onto the school grounds (although it was full of snow) and having the most important conversation they have yet to have,

"So, who are you all bringing to the ball then?" Caylin pulled her hood up of her jumper, then looked at the group of girls. "Argh! I dunno! Most girls already have a date! Even Granger got asked- Granger!" Jada groaned, their breath seen due to the cold.

They all looked around, the B.B were the only students on the grounds at the moment since anyone with a brain wouldn't dare to step into the cold. Ritisha flipped through her book: Hogwarts, A History. For the hundredth time. While Sam doodled a broom and the goal posts in Quidditch on a piece of parchment.

"Sobby, does Thomas have a date?" Ritisha asked, placing her finger on the line on which she was reading, so she can look at Sam. "I told you lot that I don't like my name!" The Ravenclaw huffed. "Oh come on! It only makes sense." Caylin interjected.

"How?! Just because I talked to Dobby for an hour; doesn't mean that you now call me Sobby!" She wined. "At least it's not Phoeni."

"Ritisha, I like yours though! I mean: yours is named after your favorite animal. Same for Cay, well- Pythy."

"Who's that?" Jada pointed to a pair of boys that were making their way to them. "Is that Potter and Weasel?" Caylin questioned, she squinted her eyes. "Perhaps, but why would they be coming here?" Asked Jada. The boys got closer and closer until they were right in front of where the B.B sat on a blanket.

"Ermm...Ritisha Conti; would you like to go to the Yule Ball with me?" Harry Potter asked her. The girls gasped and sat back, giving the pair some space. Ritisha looked at Harry and thought quickly, she had a awkward face on. Almost as if someone had a really bad stink near them. Ritisha sighed, then spoke: "Erm...as much as I would love to, Harry. I kind of got a date..."

"Oh...that's right, you're with that Slytherin. It's alright, see you at the dance then!" Harry Potter gave a wave through his gloves, then walked through the thick snow with Ronald Weasley.

The girls watched them leave, and then turned to Ritisha. "You know- as much as I dislike Potter. One: he's quite attractive, and two: he's a bloody champion! I would give up Higgs one day to go to the Yule Ball with Harry Potter:" Caylin said, her voice quivering a bit due to the cold. "The way he asked me was so odd too. Terence came up to me and went: 'So we going together or not?', not even looking at me. I asked to what and he snapped and said 'the ball!'. I told him 'yes, I'll go.', he's changed so much since last year." She got off from the blanket and put on a warmth charm.

"You sure you want to go with him? I mean, there's plenty of other guys, and girls at this school. Even the other schools. If you don't want that- screw dates; we can go together." Sam suggested.

"No, I'm fine, thanks."

Caylin got up from her side of the blanket and clapped. "Welp! I think it is time to go inside! Snow is starting to fall; and if we want any chance of getting dates, we should go to where there's actual wizards."

The B.B walked through the halls of Hogwarts singing carols and laughing, when a student from Drumstrang walked to them. He was wearing their usual uniform: red with a black fur coat, and a fur hat. The girls found him rather attractive.

He stopped harshly in front of Noemi and pulled out a rose (it must have been enchanted since all flowers were to have died due to the below freezing temperatures.) she looked around and saw that it must have been for her. She took the rose and stared at the older boy. "Noemi Baker, I have yet to make the conversation with you, but I know that you are the most beautiful witch I have ever seen. Will you be my date to the Yule Ball?"
