🌺~20~🌺 MACHINE

Start from the beginning

"No! Cole died because a human surgeon was too high on red ice to operate! All this time I blamed androids for what happened but it was a human's fault! Him and this fucked up world where the only way people can find comfort is with a fistful of powder!" Under different circumstances, I'd be proud of Hank for seeing thing the true way. Hanks no longer blind in his anger. I'm just sad this is the way he was able to do it.

>GET CONNOR TO LEAVE<

"Do you really want to kill us, Connor?" I ask. He pauses. The moment he decides is tense and threatening. "Killing you is not part of my mission. I'm glad to have met you both. Hank, I hope one day you can get over what happened to your son." He starts to walk past us both, but stops to turn back towards me. "I'm sorry, Detective." He leaves us both on the snowy roof. Only then do I lower my gun. "So am I." I mumble tearfully. Hank puts a hand on my shoulder, and I pull him into a hug. He is shocked at first, but hugs back. "It'll be alright, kid."

>TUANT CONNOR<

"Well, what are you gonna do, Connor?" I ask. He pauses. The moment he decides is tense and threatening. I doubt we can beat him. He attacks us. He throws the sniper and rushes us. It's all a blur. I'm kicking, punching, Hank is thrown, I'm thrown, Connor trips. I'm bleeding, Hank is bleeding, the snow blinds me. I lose my gun. And in the end, Connor hold Hank over the edge of the building. I panic. "Connor...no. Please, don't..." He takes no notice of me. "Moment of truth, Connor... What are you gonna do?" Hank asks.

[Connor P.O.V.]

I process everything I've been told by both the Lieutenant and the Detective. Hank is right. Moment of truth. Are these two humans in the way of my mission?

>KILL HANK<

Yes. They are. I let go of the Lieutenants shirt. A look of fear crosses his face as his body falls. (Y/n) cries out in horror. She attempts to safe him to no avail. He crashes to the pavement before she can reach. She's sobbing. Where I may have once cared, I now just feel cold. I have to focus on my mission. No matter what I once thought of the Detective.  "Hank! No! Please, oh good, no..." She looks at me, pure hatred in her eyes. "I'll never forgive you, Connor. Never. You're a horrible monster! You're worse then a machine! Rot in hell, you son of a bitch!" She snatches the sniper, aims, and pulls the trigger. But it's jammed. I leave her, crying and alone, without a word.

>SAVE HANK<

No. Not really. Not enough for this. There are still my partners. "Killing you is not part of my mission. But you won't stop me from accomplishing it." I let him back on the rooftop. He look like he's about to go, but he rushes me. I don't manage to move in time, and I feel myself fall. I feel nothing, only upload my memory. My mission must be accomplished.

{Y/n P.O.V.}

>HANK IS DEAD<

I can't move, I can't feel anything. I only stare down at the lifeless body of my partner. I won't rest until Connor is stopped. That I know for sure. Anything I felt for Connor is replaced by loathing. We will win, and Connor? I'll make sure he gets what's coming to him.

>HANK IS ALIVE<

"I didn't wanna do that, Connor... You left me no choice." I can't help but cry and the lifeless body of Connor. I know it's a mistake, I know I shouldn't love him, but I do. I fall to my knees over the edge. "You're a machine, Connor. Just a machine." Hank says to himself. He kneels next to me, hugging me as comfort. "I'm so sorry, kid." He says knowingly. "I'm sorry."

>WENT ON YOUR OWN<

"You shouldn't do this, Connor." Connor doesn't turn towards me. "Keep out of this, Detective. It's none of your business!"
