Chapter 4

I broke down in tears and quickly drove away. The girls had a ride home.

I screeched into my drive way and ran into my room. I threw my stuff down. I was home alone once again.

I heard a knock on my balcony door and I ignored it. I heard footsteps and someone knelt beside me.

" Hey are you okay ? " they asked

" why do you care ? " I asked.

" Because I just do." He said hesitantly touching my back.

I looked up and seen Austin.

" Why are you here ? " I asked angrily.

" Because I saw you crying when you pulled up and I wanted to see if you were okay." He said

" No. You were just trying to be nosey. So you can go tell Alex Robert and Zach everything you find out about me. Just because I won't date you or hook up with you or fuck you." I said

" No. That's not what I'm doing." He said

" Lies." I said standing up and walking to my bathroom.

" You know Alex came up and talked to me today saying how I just stop calling you things because words hurt." I said

" He did ? " he asked

" Yeah. You have damaged more people than I know. I don't know who the fuck he thinks he is telling ME that words hurt. But he should tell you not me. " I said

" I'm sorry Ashton."

" No your not Austin. Your not sorry for any of it. Your just saying that so I think you have changed. "

" No I'm not ." He said

" Yes you are Kaleb ! " I yelled

" Kaleb ? " Austin said confused.

Tears filled my eyes and my mouth opened a little.

I can not believe I just said that. Kaleb is my ex boyfriend that cheated on me with my ex best friend Sophie.

" Wait Kaleb Halverson ? " he asked

I didn't say anything and walked back into the bathroom. I sat on my counter and put my head into my knees.

" What did he do ? " Austin asked hesitantly.

" It does matter." I said it sounded muffled.

" If it's making you sad that it does matter. " he said

I looked up and him and he said ;

" What happened ? "

" Sophie's God damn family happened. First my dad cheats on my mom with her mom then my boyfriend cheats on me with her." I said

" Wait your dad is having an affair.?" He asked

" Yeah. And he thinks I told my mom about it." I said

" Is that why he ..?" He said trailing off.

" Raped and beat me ? Yeah." I said

" HE RAPED YOU ?! YOUR OWN DAD ?! " he yelled

" Then right after he did that we saw each other when I was taking a walk." I said

" Wait.. I told you that right after he did that to you ? " he asked

" Mhm." I said

I felt like I was gonna cry but nothing was coming out. My eyes were completely dry. But my throat was burning. I had that feeling when you about to cry but I've cried so much I can't cry anymore.
