The forest is quiet. The exact reason why I was investigating it tonight when I'm supposed to be at my evening class. I didn't tell Cedric about it. There's no way he would let me do this.
Breathless, I walked slowly among the trees, gripping my wand so tight my knuckles turned white.
I turn around. Agony cries. I could hear them from a mile away. Not only that, but everything was starting to get colder and colder as I neared the lake in the forest. There I see it. Two figures. One grown man and one student. He looks like Harry Potter. They are swarmed by Dementors. I know what to do.
I think of my happiest memory. Of every hangout with Cedric. That first kiss on New Years at The Burrow. Him asking me to be his girlfriend on my birthday. All of it.
Every.
Single.
Moment.
A boy appears next to me. I don't have time to look at his features. Instead I smile at him and raise my wand.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!"
a/n: Sorry for the extremely short chapter I'll update later today to make up for it. Also, fun fact: the main events in 1994 in the end of the Prisoner of Azkaban happened on my birthday, June 6th (I wasn't born in 1994 but y'know what I mean), which is why I feel a special connection to that book and why I created a fan fiction based on that book rather than the 4th book which is what most Cedric fanfictions are surrounded on :) Anyways yeah so I'll see you later but until then please consider voting/commenting! <3 Chloe
