-Your at home in your room grounded-

I sat down at my desk working on my math homework. I couldn't focus on school right now after the shit that happened. I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said annoyed. My mom opened the door and just stood at the doorway. "Just making sure your doing your work. This is the last time i'm checking on you today you little fuck," she said harshly. I sneered at her and then she closed the door. I heard her footsteps depart. I wanted to get out of here so bad. I stood up from my chair and looked out the window. A tree was right next to the window and I thought it would be easy to climb up here. It gave me an idea. I walked over to my telephone and called the number written on my hand. The phone rang for a while then it stopped. "Hello?" that sweet high but deep voice asked. "Hey Eddie, I want you to come get me," I said commanding. "Ok, um where are you," he asked. "Im grounded. Im in my room. You can get in by climbing that big tree in front of the side window," I whispered so my parents wouldn't hear. I gave Eddie my address. "Ok, be ready in 10," Eddie said. "Ok," I replied and hung up the phone. My heart was beating fast. I have never done anything like this before. I usually do what I'm told trying to stay out of trouble. I decided to continue doing my homework while I waited for him. My leg was bouncing and my palms got a little bit sweaty but I didn't feel nauseous which was good.

I looked at my watch and 9 minutes have gone by. I looked out the window and heard a rustling noise. I rushed over and smiled opening the window to let Eddie in. "Hey y/n," he said entering my room. "Nice crib you got," he looked around. "Thanks," I replied. "Eddie I've never done anything like this before and Im kind of scared," I fiddled with my hands. Eddie held my arm and smiled. "Don't be. Your with me," he reassured me. My heart skipped a beat. "So where are we gonna go?" I asked. "Hey, I know getting away from school was fun but let's go back," Eddie said. "Why?" I was confused. "There is no one in the school right now. We could do anything we wanted in there!" he exclaimed. "Plus, I know where they hide the keys," he raised an eyebrow being cocky. "Ok, then I guess we're going to school," I said taking in a deep breath. "Hey y/n dont be so nervous. I got you," Eddie held my hand. My heart rate slowed a little and I became less nervous while holding his hand. "Thanks," I chuckled nervously, my face flushed.

"Let's go," Eddie said while walking towards the window. I kept the lights on so it seemed like I was in here and put a pair of shoes near the door to create a shadow. "Ok," I exhaled. I walked over to the window climbing out with Eddie and tried to balance on the tree. "Woah!" I exclaimed trying not to fall. Eddie grabbed my hips and kept me steady. I looked back at him blushing and looked in front of me again. "Just dont look down," Eddie pointed out. I took deep breaths and slowly walked down the tree with Eddie's hands still holding my hips helping me balance. We eventually made it all the way to the bottom. "Ok, that was a little fun but I think my soul left me," I said in shock. Eddie laughed and held my hand. "Y/n you were great. Your so cute when your nervous," he chuckled. 'Shut up you moron," I said embarrassed but also laughing. Eddie and I walked to my car. "Wait did you walk over here?" I asked. "Yea, I hear it's good exercise," he said while jogging in place. I smiled and shoved his shoulder. "Your to much Pilikian," I rolled my eyes. "Hey I'll drive this time," Eddie said. I handed him the keys and we both got into the car. "Onto the school we go to!" I said in a deep heroic voice. "Man, y/n sometimes your extra," he remarked. "I know," I lifted my shoulders up and smiled teasing him. Now, I could really tell that me and Eddie we're already best friends on day one.
