As the clock strikes twelve

On this magical beautiful night

The fireflies start to fly

Bringing forth their light

Like the stars in the night sky

Or the shimmering moon on the lake

The masks between the two that hides

Just who is their mate

As the clock strikes twelve again

With music in the air

Dancing under the blossom trees

The wind blowing through our hair

The whispers of the trees surrounding us

Singing their song about a girl and boy

And how he couldn'y kiss the girl

Even though it bring both of them pure joy

As the clock strikes twelve one more

While they walk hand in hand

Saying nothing not a single word

Though nothing needs to be said at all

Playing Cinderella for two or three nights

Trying to catch herself a prince somehow

To love and cherish her forevermore

And become one with a simple yet powerful vow

I know i'm a cheesy girl who is still in love with fairytale endings
