"Tadashi?"

Yamaguchi Tadashi turned around and his jaw practically dropped to the ground.

His date to the Karasuno Valentine's Day Dance was in a beautiful F/C dress with silver flats.

"Do I look okay?" she asked shyly, not able to meet his eyes.
"You're the most stunning girl I've seen," he blushed.
"Oh, Y/N is that your date?!" M/N asked excitedly.
"Yeah, Mom, this is Yamaguchi Tadashi," Y/N smiled.
"I-It's a p-pleasure to m-meet you!" Yamaguchi yelped, a bit nervous.
"You too, Yamaguchi-kun! You made my daughter so happy when you asked her to the dance!" M/N gushed.
"Mom!" Y/N scolded, trying to hide her face behind her hands.
"She made me happy when she accepted," Yamaguchi smiled. "We should probably get going now, or we'll be late."
"Wait, pictures first!"
"Mom!"

"You really do look beautiful though," Yamaguchi said as they walked to the school.

Fortunately for Y/N, she lived really close to the school so she had no problem walking there everyday.

"I'm sorry if my mom embarrassed you," Y/N said, her cheeks still slightly pink.
"No, she didn't. I was glad to hear how excited you were," Yams admitted.
"Remember when you asked me to the dance?" Y/N asked.

"Y/N-chan!"

The girl turned to face the freckled boy as they were walking.

Their after school clubs happened to end at the same time, so Yamaguchi would always walk her home after they were finished with their day.

"Y/N-chan, d-do you have a date to the dance?"
"No," she replied, her heart beginning to race.
"W-wouldyouwanttogotothedancewithme?!"
"Tadashi-kun, slow down," she said, unsure.

Yamaguchi took a deep breath and turned to face her, bolding reaching for her hand.

"Would you, L/N Y/N, like to go the Valentine's Day Dance with me?" he asked, as he gazed into her eyes.

Her E/C eyes practically sparkled when he asked and she threw her arms around his neck excitedly.

"Yes, yes I would!" she beamed happily. "I really really wanted you to ask me!" she confessed.
"I'm so glad I did then," Yams laughed joyfully.

"You held my hand for the first time after that," Y/N remembered, wistfully.
"And I've held it ever since," Yamaguchi smiled as he intertwined their fingers.
"Oiiii, Yamaguchi!" they heard.

The young couple turned around to find an orange haired guy.

"Oh, Yamaguchi, is this the girl you're always talking about during practice?!"
"Hinata, boke!" a taller guy, with scarier eyes scolded.
"Kageyama, don't yell at your date,"  a kind, silver haired guy said.
"Oh, Y/N, these are my teammates," Yamaguchi said, introducing them.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," she said.
"Let's hurry! I don't wanna miss the chance to dance with Asahi-san!" Nishinoya grinned.
"I'm glad you and him finally confessed," Suga said as they began walking behind Yamaguchi.
"You and Daichi too, Suga-san!" Tanaka pointed out.
"But Kiyoko-senpai finally returned your feelings!" Hinata grinned.
"He passed out when she said yes to his proposal," Tsukishima smirked, walking by the second year.
"Shut up, Tsukishima!" Tanaka yelled. "You're the only one without a date anyways!"
"We're here too, Tanaka-san," Ennoshita mumbled, rolling his eyes.
"We're always forgotten, aren't we?" Narita sighed.
"Mhm," Kinoshita replied.

"The gym looks so different!" Hinata gasped, surprised.
"So much pink," Kageyama muttered.
"Tadashi, let's go dance!" Y/N urged.

The green haired boy laughed as she dragged him onto the dance floor. Tsukishima watched the two, unsure of why he even came.

"Uhm, Tsukishima-san?"

The salty blonde boy turned around to find a small, brunette girl.

"What?" he asked, coldly.
"Do you have a date?"
"No, and apparently, you don't either."
"I did, but he kinda ditched me," she admitted, laughing awkwardly.
"Oh. Would you wanna dance?" Tsukishima asked.
"...what?"
"Don't make me repeat it," he huffed.
"I'm Mya," the brunette smiled.
"Last name?"
"You can find out after this dance," she smirked.

Yams and Y/N were dancing close to each other, happily.

"Let's slow things down!" the DJ yelled.

"When your legs don't walk like they used to before.."

Y/N blushed as she gently wrapped her arms around Yamaguchi's shoulders.

"I'm really glad you asked me to the dance," she whispered.
"You said that already," he chuckled.
"But its true! Look around at everyone else," she smiled.

As Yamaguchi glanced around the gym, he seen all his friends dancing together, including the second years. Even cold hearted Tsukishima had a date.

"Looks like everything turned out as it should've," Yams smiled. "Except, uhm."
"Yeah?"
"Would you wanna be my girlfriend?" he asked, gazing into her eyes like the first time he asked.

And with that, Y/N cupped his face and gently pulled Yamaguchi in for a kiss.
