Our silent journey ended when Chaeyoung called my name as we arrived at the hospital. I looked at her and saw her wearing her face mask before handing me one for myself.

"Thank you for sending me. Here's a mask for you in case you don't have one.", she said before I took it from her. "Oh, anyway...why are you going out of the house? I thought your father said you could work from home.", she asked as she opened the door.

"I'm going to take...wait a minute. Aren't you late for work, Park Chaeyoung-ssi?", I responded while tapping the clock that is showing 7.58 AM at the moment.

"Oh, sh...Right, thanks again, Jimin-ssi. Bye!", she quickly walked out and left me shaking my head with her clumsy self.

Park Chaeyoung's POV

I ran for the elevator and thankfully there was a spot for me to stand in there.

"4th floor, please. Thank you.", I said to the person standing closer to the floor buttons in the elevator.

"I saw you.", the person standing beside me said to me.

I took a glance at the person and realized that it was Hoseok, my fellow resident in the same department.

"You saw me?", I asked as we are reaching to the 4th floor.

"Yup, your husband drove you to work. So sweet.", he said as we walked out when we reached the floor where we will have our daily briefing at.

"Oh, shut up, oppa.", I said as I tried to be calm despite seeing that we are late 2 minutes after 8 AM.

He smiled as he opened the door to the discussion room for us. I saw that the other residents are here as well for the briefing. But, there was no sign of our supervisor yet.

"Get inside. We're starting our briefing now.", the voice came from behind startled me as I stepped into the discussion room with Hoseok.

"Oh, Chaeyoung-ssi. Aren't you supposed to be on leave?", our supervisor, Dr Kim Namjoon asked as he saw my face.

"Uh, yeah. 2 days only.", I answered.

Namjoon frowned before replying, "Your dad said you're taking extra leave for a week. You just got married, right?"

I heard a few whispers around me after Namjoon's words. They must have known about my sudden marriage with Jimin.

"Shut your mouth, everyone else. I'm not talking to you guys.", Namjoon sternly told them so they went silent again.

"I...feel bored at home. Plus, my husband let me to go to work, Namjoon-ssi.", I spoke to him before he started the briefing for us.

The briefing ended in 15 minutes and we parted ways to start our duty for the day. I headed to my place and took a breather to relax before I start my day.

"Chaeyoung-ah, are you okay?", I turned to see Namjoon at the door looking at me like a caring brother he is.

"Oh, Joon oppa. I'm okay. Why do you ask?", I replied as I took my white coat and stood up to go check on my patients.

Namjoon shook his head before opening the door wider for me to go out.

"It's just unexpected to see you here today. Your dad said you're not coming for a week. I already had Hobi to cover your work here, you know?", he said as we walked on the hallway together.

I wore my white coat and smiled at him to assure him that I am okay. He might be worried about me for no reason like how he usually is. "You asked Hobi oppa to cover for me?", I asked as we reached the elevator.

"I was supposed to tell him that in the briefing earlier but you came so...", he stopped as we got in to go to our respective floors. "Anyway, how is it with your husband? All good?", he asked me.

I slowly nodded, "It's fine. It's not like I never knew him before I married him."

"But he was supposed to marry your sister.", he said to me.

"Yeah..but he looked fine. I wonder where my unnie is.", I said as I saw the elevator opened.

"Yeah, speaking of her. Aren't you worried about her?", he asked as he stepped out of the elevator but I kept it open to reply to him.

I nodded and told him, "I am but my dad said he's reported her missing to the police. He asked me to relax and let them do their work. But still, I'm worried about her too."

Namjoon nodded before flashing a smile on his face, "Don't worry much. I'm sure your dad knows what to do. I'll be going to the ward first. I'll see you around later, Chae?"

I bowed my head to him before the elevator closed again. I sighed as I remembered Seulgi's email for me the night before her supposed wedding. I wondered why she wrote me that email telling that she cannot make it for her wedding and apologized as if she did something wrong to me.

"Just where are you now, unnie?", I mumbled before the elevator opened for me.

I stepped out and took a deep breath before I check on my adorable patients.
