"That was a little.. aggressive."

I look at her as she looks at me then I saw her slightly smile. "Sorry." She rubs her arm as she was looking away. "I just.. didn't want you walking away."

Looking at her, I couldn't help but smile as I stepped towards her then pulled her into a hug. I felt her arms wrap around me and I smiled against her shoulder as I leaned my head there.

She rubbed my back as we stayed in that position then we both pulled back and stared at each other. I saw her smile before reaching up and caressing my cheek before sighing.

"Grace.."

I reached up and grabbed her wrist as my eyes never left hers. "Miranda."

She had a smile on her face that never did vanish as she was caressing my cheek. I couldn't help but smile at her as she was doing the same and we weren't saying any words.

Her hand released my cheek as she kept looking at me. "You want something to drink?" She walks around me and I followed her to the kitchen.

"Sure." I watched as she went to the fridge and grabbed a water out before handing it to me. I smiled at her as I kept looking at her before grabbing the bottle.

"Why did you leave during the service?" She asks.

Looking at her, I was opening my bottle then stopped once she asked that question. "Oh.. I just.." I kept looking at her before sighing. "I just felt uncomfortable and needed air."

She looks at me before nodding. "Did it have anything to do with what the preacher was talking about?"

I shrug as I took a sip of water before setting it down. "I mean.."

"It's ok, Grace." She says. "I.. felt guilty too."

Looking at her, I sigh as I look down at the counter. "We're not even doing anything."

"But we are.." Miranda said, which made me look up at her. "We've already confessed our feelings towards each other. We already kissed. I'm still married." She continued to look at me.

"It's a sin."

"Why?" I ask. "Cause we're both females?"

She sighs. "No-"

"I get that.. a lot of people don't like what other people do with their life but it's none of their business who we should or shouldn't like."

Miranda continued to look at me before looking down at the counter. "I didn't say it was wrong. I just.. I feel guilty and I don't know why."

Looking at her, I sigh as I leaned on the counter and stared at nothing for a moment. I wasn't sure what thoughts she was having in her head right now but we're on the same boat cause we both felt something when that preacher was saying all those things.

I heard something then looked up to see Miranda walking around the counter towards me. She pulls me into a hug as she stands next to me before leaning her head against mine as she was holding me tightly.

Smiling, I wrap my arms around her as well and soaked in the warmth of her embrace.

This woman was definitely d0ing something to me.

And it was a little terrifying as well as exciting.

When we pulled back, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before smiling at me then walking back around the counter. I watch as she walks to the fridge and grabs out a water bottle and I saw something that made me curious as she was shutting the fridge door.
