Chapter 23

Nayeon POV

"I agree with your plan. He's a good looking man." I said excited to Jeongyeon.

"Whatever. Just so you know, I'm still the best. You can't just move on from me. So, want to celebrate our first success?" Jeongyeon winks at me.

"Don't you want to see your lover? I didn't see her." I said.

"She doesn't come office today. That's why you can be near with me. If not, you can ever come near or talk to me. Hahah. She's a jealous woman babe. So, do you wants to have fun tonight bunny? I can make you fly and exercise at the same time. I will make you beg for me to take you higher." He said seductive to me.

I just nodded as I can't believe my voice. I was so turn on when he said that. Like I said, he's my weakness. We leaving the building to fly. I really need him right now.

Mina POV

Its 8pm. Chaeyoung still didn't come home. He usual come home early. Jeongyeon also didn't bother to call or text me as I said I want to rest today. Actually, I just don't have mood and stress out because I don't know how to tell Chaeyoung about us. I wait him at living room. Its 10pm, Chaeyoung still didn't come home. So, I decide to called him.

"Hello Chaeyoung. Where are you? Why you didn't come back yet?" I asked him.

"Hello princess. I'm sorry. I still have work to do. Just go to sleep first will you. Don't wait for me. Or do you want something? I will buy it." He replied.

"No no. Its weird because you always come home early. Its okay. I will go to sleep first. Take care." I said.

"Alright princess. Good night." He hang up.

Actually, I'm scared being alone at home. I also hate being in dark. Its because of my trauma. But when I married, I'm the one who told aunty sunny to come morning and going back at dawn. Because I don't want her to know me and Chaeyoung sleep in different room. I know she will tell my parent if she know. Now, I scared. I should told Chaeyoung. But my ego won't let me do it. Son Chaeyoung please come back home.

No one POV

Chaeyoung was busy with his work and didn't notice its already night. Mina was called him. He told Mina to sleep first. He continue doing his work. Suddenly, his phone rings.

"Hello Chaeyoung. I forgot to told you. Tonight at 12am, they will cut all electricity for some maintenance. Just make sure Mina not being alone in dark. You know her trauma right? So, be near to her okay." Aunty sunny said.

"Okay aunty. Thank you for inform me that." I replied.

Then, he looks at his watch. Its already 11.45. He didn't realise the time. He also remember about Mina's parent told him about her trauma. How Mina scared being alone and scared of dark. He quickly get his thing and rushed go to Mina.

"Hang on Mina. I will be there in a minute." I said to myself.

I drive fast and try to call Mina. But she didn't answer it. I was worry. I look at my watch its already 12.23am. They must already cut off the electricity. Then, my phone rings. The caller its Mina, but before I can answer it my phone turn off.

"Fuck. Not this time. My phone battery has no battery." I said at hit hard the steering.

I was so worry about Mina. Aunty sunny early also remind him about Mina trauma. That's make I worried. Finally, I got home. The house was so dark because our house is a little far from the other house. I run searching for Mina.

"Princess? Princess? Mina? Where are you Mina?" There's no answer. I run to her room.

I saw Mina sitting in the corner of the room while hugging her knees cover her face. I walk slowly to her and approach her softly. I don't want to make she more scared. She look so fragile right now. I saw him tremble and crying. Its make my heart hurts seeing Mina like this. You such a useless Chaeyoung.

"Hey princess. Its me Chaeyoung. I'm already here." I said softly to her. But she stay statue and don't ever look at me.

"Princess. Listen to my voice. I'm here. I will always be right here for you princess. Now, please look at me. I'm sorry for leaving you alone. I won't do it again. Please princess. Look at me." I begging.

Then she slowly raised her face and looked at me with her teary eyes. Her eyes was so scared and she really looked fragile. I want to protect this angel forever.

"Look. Its me right? Can I hug you?" I asked her.

She didn't answer, she keep looking at me. A few moment later she jumped toward me and hugged me hard. She cried in my chest. I keep pat her back to keep her calm.

"Its okay baby. I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you. I will always protect you. I'm sorry. Don't cry baby." I said softly.

"You.. you.. left me alone.. Mina scared... please don't leave me.. there's someone came to hurt me.. I'm scared.." Mina said while sobbing. Its hurt to see she like this. I keep pat her back.

"No one can hurt you princess. I'm here. I'm here baby." I hug her tight.

"Can.. can.. You sing for me? I'm scared..I like listen to you voice. Its make me calm. Can you?" She asked.

"Of cos baby. Hmm. If I sing, you should take a rest okay. Now, let's go to you bed. You can lay down there." Mina try to stand but her leg weak maybe because sitting for long.

I picked her up the bridal style and laid her down on the bed slowly. I sat on the edge of the bed next to her. She turned her body to face me.

"Can you hold my hand and sing?" Mina asked.

"Sure princess. Now, what song should I sing for you?" I wiped my chin as I was thinking.

"Haa, I know what song. Take a rest okay. Close your eyes. Sorry if it didn't sound good." I said.

Then I start sing to her. She close her eyes and still holding tight my hand. I keep sing and pat her back. Her hand grin slowly being lose as she fall asleep. I still keep sing for her and hold her hand. After I make sure she already deep in sleep, I put a blanket on her. I kiss her forehead and whisper.

"I'm sorry princess. I shouldn't leaving you alone. I should know it when you call. I'm sorry. I'm such a loser husband. Now, I promise I will protect you. Sleep tight my princess. My baby." I whisper to her as she would hear it.

I woke up slowly afraid she will awake. Suddenly, she held my hand with her eyes still closed.

"Please don't leave me. Please." She said still with closed eyes.

I hold her hand softly and sat back on the edge bed beside her. I just looked at her. Sometimes she frowned, but most all the time she look peaceful and beautiful while sleeping. I don't know what time I fall asleep.
