CHAPTER-18

You know, I have a policy in my every branch across the globe, and that whenever a female employee is having periods she will be given a week off from work, coz as a female I know how it feels.

Ranveer went to bathroom afterwards.

He came out ready after good 1 hour. And I don't look at him, coz I was curled up on bed holding my stomach. It pains too much.

"Ishika are you ok?" his worried voice came from behind.

I didn't say anything but simply nod.

After 2 minutes he came with heating pad, and asks me to put it on my stomach.

"How do you know?" I asked with utter confusion as how he know that abdomen was paining and I need heating pad.

"What?" he said.

"This... heating pad." I asked.

"Oh... I know you were on periods and your abdomen is aching." He said with a shrug like its normal.

Okay!! I know periods are normal. But hey, how come he knows about them. He doesn't even have a sister. And boys do not have periods.

Right!

Does he have girlfriend!!

But he told me he never dated.

Just thinking of another woman, my mood sour, body was filled with rage.

"How you know abdomen aches in periods?" I asked with anger filled voice.

Do you have girlfriend? I thought of asking but denied.

"No, I don't have any girlfriend. I haven't dated anyone. You are the first woman in my life after my mom."

"And for your earlier question, we live in 21st century. And I have studied about it in school. It's not a big deal. In fact every boy has to know about it."

"I have bought your favourite chocolates, they are in fridge. Whenever you want, have them. Okay." He said cupping my cheeks. I relaxed, and blushed a little on his answer about my thought.

"Should I take a leave today?" he asked worriedly.

"No, you go office, I will be fine." I replied.

After some time he hesitantly leaves for office but before going he asked me to call him if I need anything.

He is so cute!

Yeah! So cute.

I know.

One maid came with breakfast, as everyone were going to mom's sister house to meet her now, and they will return in few days, as she live in Gujrat. So they three went on a vacation, I say. They asked us too but we both were busy with office work so we politely denied.

After having breakfast, I lay down on my bed and sleep took over as heating pad was really helping me.

I woke up in after noon, its 1:35 pm, which means no one is at home, not even maids, look like I have to make something for myself.

I made my way to kitchen, and saw lunch was already prepared but I am not in the mood of having it because I wants to eat Ice-cream.

Yes! I love ice-creammmmmmm.

I took a big bowl and place each flavour in the bowl which was present.

Then make my way to theatre room.

Though I have TV in my room but why to watch on small screen when you have movie room in your house.

I sit down on sofa-cum-bed, place my phone beside me, switch on Netflix and watch the new series which I have started recently, "chilling adventures of Sabrina" and side by side savouring my yummy ice cream.
