But I guess destiny had something different in store for us and now he doesn't do any of those things, all because of me.
And I fucking regretted it.

[Jaime]
As I was getting out of the elevator I bumped into someone. That someone out to be a short beautiful girl with medium length black hair, nose ring, and a sleeve of tattoos.
She was very beautiful but I definitely wasn't into girls anymore.
'Oh I am so sorry.' I said.
'No it's okay, this happens to me every day.' she laughed.
'I'm Jaime.'
'I'm Audrey. Would you like to get a cup of coffee? It's not everyday that I get to bump into cute guys like you.' she said.
~Wow, this girl is confident~ I thought to myself.
'Well when you work in what I work in, you have to learn to be confident.' Audrey laughed.
---
'What?' I asked confused, then I realized I had said my thoughts out loud. 'What's your job?' I asked her as we walked to the coffee shop.
'Well, I hope you don't think any less of me after I tell you this.'
'Of course not.'
'I'm a bartender.'
'That's cool, I actually wanted to be that when I was younger.'
'It's not all that great, especially when guys are hitting on you all the time. It makes me quite uncomfortable sometimes but you have to do what you have to do to get by.'
'Agreed.' I nodded.
'What do you do for a living?'
'I play bass for world renowned band Pierce The Veil.' I laughed.
We were known around the world but we weren't as popular as some of the other music groups.
'Oh! No wonder I recognized you from somewhere!' she said as she held her hands to her face, blushing. 'I'm sorry I have to fangirl a bit now.'
She walked away from me and screamed at the sky. Then she walked back to me and gave me a hug.
'Wasn't what I expected.' I joked.
'What? Do you want the typical fangirl moment?' she asked.
I shook my head.
---
I smiled as Audrey finished her cup of coffee.
I have to admit, she was a very beautiful girl. Her lips were full and red. Her hair was black but only fell down to her shoulders. She was skinny but the clothes fit her perfectly. She was about Vic's height, which was good for me.
'What?' she asked, an eyebrow raised.
'I wanna tell you something but I don't want you to get offended.'
'Tell me.'
'You are very beautiful.'
She blushed and bit her lip before answering my compliment.
'Thank you.' she said. 'Would you and your boys like to come hang out at the bar tonight? I'm working and Saturdays are when we get the most customers.'
'Yeah. I'm sure Vic, Tony, and Mike would appreciate that.'
She laughed. 'Speaking of Vic, is the Fuenciado deal real or?'
My face fell as I started playing with my thumbs. I gathered myself and put a fake smile on my face.
I shook my head. 'No.'
'Oh.. Sorry if that question made you uncomfortable.'
'Of course not! Fuenciado was never real, me and Vic always played up our bromance for the fans.'
'Oh okay. Well I guess I should let you go?'
'So soon? Would you like to come back to the hotel and meet the rest of the dudes?'
'I'd love to!'
'Okay! Let's go.' I said as I paid for our things and stood up.
I put my arm out for her and she gladly took it. We walked out of the coffee place and made our way to the hotel.
If Vic could move on with a girl, then so could I.
---
'Hello? Anyone in here?' I said opening the door and stepping inside with Audrey.
'In here!' I heard Mike shout.
'Okay they're in here.' I whispered. 'Guys I wanna introduce you to someone.'
I grabbed Audrey's hand and pulled her into the view of the guys.
'This is Audrey. Audrey, this is Tony, Mike, and uh Vic.'
'Hello. Nice to meet you all, I'm Audrey.' she said as she waved.
'I'm Mike.'
'I'm Tony.'
'Vic.'
'Well it was nice meeting you all, I've got to get home to get ready for work. So I'll see you later?'
'Yeah of course.'
'Bye everyone.' she said as she left.
I saw her close the door so I turned back to the guys to get their reactions.
'So what'd you guys think of her?'
'As long as she's not some controlling psychopath or some skank we're cool with her.' Mike said.
'Okay cool. Vic?'
'I guess.' he shrugged.
It seemed like he was jealous, but I didn't care.
'Ohh-kayyyy. We'll she invited us to go to the bar she works out tonight, so you guys wanna go?'
'Sure.' Mike and Tony both said.
'I'll just hang back, I need to be alone for awhile.' Vic shrugged.
'Suit yourself.'
'Well I'm gonna go shower.'I said before heading in the bathroom.
If Vic was gonna be a douche bag, then so was I. I wasn't gonna let him bring me down. I might finally have the chance to move on from him, just like he moved on from me.
