Hanging out with friends

I woke up with the sun shining down on my face I tried to go back to sleep by putting my pillow over my head but it failed

I got up and went to make my food after I ate I took a shower then got into comfy clothes
and just did some light cleaning since Kakashi gave us a day off to rest up before we went back to training

*knock knock*

I stopped what I was doing to get the door when I opened it I saw Sakura and Ino

"Hello" I said waving them
"Hey Y/n are you busy because some of use are hanging out and wanted to know if you wanted to join" Sakura asked with a big smile on her face Ino just rolled her eye at how happy she was
"Do you always have to be so cheerful" asked Ino
"Shut it" Sakura retaliated
"Umm no I'm not give me a minute to get changed then we can head out and met up with them" I said as I invited them in

After they came in I closed to the door and headed to my room to get change I opened my closet to find something to wear

"We're not training and if we are just hanging out with some friends them maybe I should wear something different but also something I could still fight in" I thought to myself

After a few more seconds of trying to find something I found what I was going to wear and put it on

After that I just brushed my hair and put it up in (f/h) (f/h means favorite hair style)

I grab my Kuhni pouch and put around my left thigh after that I put my headband on and then went out to join up with Ino and Sakura

"Wow nice outfit" Ino said coming up to you
"Thanks I thought I would try something new today" I said as we walked outside
"It looks cute" Sakura said
"Thanks were are we going anyway?" You asked a little confused
"Will we are going to get BBQ with everyone one" Ino said as we kept walking
"Ohh ok sounds fun" I say with a big smile on my face
"Wait if everyone going to be there is it just the people from our class or" You asked as you look a Ino
"Ohh no let see some of are class will be there team guy which is Neji,Lee and TenTen and I believe the group from the sand with be there" Ino said looking forward
"Ohh ok I can't wait to see anyone ohh Sakura don't we have training tomorrow" I asked looking up into the sky
"Yes we do have training tomorrow Y/n" someone said behind you

You and the other two looked behind you to see Kakashi

"We're did you come from" I asked a little confused
"Ohh will I just happen to be walking by and herd you ask Sakura if we had training" He said with his usual clam voice
"Ohh ok" I said
"One more then Kakashi-sensei pls don't be late this time like you always are because even if I wait an hour after we should already have been there I am always there before you" I said as I walked away

He didn't respond he just rolled his eyes a chuckled a little then just left

Time Skip

We just got to the the BBQ place and we walked in and sat down with the others I saw all of my friends I also saw Neji,Lee and TenTen I also saw Gaara Termari and Kankro

Naruto was sitting next to Lee and Neji just sat in the middle of Lee and TenTen

Gaara sat with his team and I sat in the middle of Sakura and Ino everyone was talking and eating

Sakura and Ino kept bickering back a forth

I sighed "do you ever stop bickering" I said as I rolled my eyes
"She started it" Sakura said
"Did not billboard brow" Ino said
" I don't care who started it I am ending it or do not remember what happened last time" I said as I gave them both a cold glare
"Ohh yah will stop" Sakura sutures
"Good" I said

"Y/n" TenTen said
I looked up to look at her and just hummed
"Umm I was wondering how you were so good at fight" She ask which this made everyone else look at me waiting for me to answer
"Hmm will idk I mean my father taught my hand to hand combat when I was six and then I just kept training until I got stronger" I said as I looked at her
"Ohh will you father sounds like he is a good fighter" She said
I smiled and said
"Yah he was he was also a very kind and caring person I guessed I got his fighting skills" I laughed a little

I could tell everyone was thinking the same thing which was from the word "was"

"Umm if you don't mind me asking what do you mean by was" Ino asked

"Ohh no I don't mind at all I said 'was' because my mother and father were both killed when I was 8" I told her

"Ohh sorry" she said
"It's fine" I said a gave her a nod to tell her I am ok

Time skip

When I got home and got changed into sleep wear and look and the picture of me and my parents I sighed knowing that the anniversary of the death was coming up I pushed the thought out of me head and went to bed

Gaara's Pov ———
Me and my siblings we all siting on the couch just talking

" So Y/n has been on her own since she was 8" Kankro said
"Yah and your point Kankro" Termari asked razing a eyebrow
"Nothing but look at how strong she is I wonder what else she could do I mean there team we the first one to the tower during the second exam they got there with in a few hours after the exam started" Kankro said
"Ok and her team could be a strong one" Termari told Kankro
"I think she did most of it by herself because naruto and Sasuka looked and beat up and that pink hair girl looks weak as we saw but Y/n looks strong I sense something different about her that I don't think anyone now's about " I said
"What do you mean Gaara" Kankro asked

" I mean I sense a powerful chakra almost like she has a beast sealed in her like I do but it also looks like she nows how to use it's chakra " I said in my monotone voice
"Huh I sense a strong chakra but who knows she could just now how to use it"Termari says
"Yah"Kankro said
"Wait Gaara question" Termari asked
"Hmm" was all I said
"Do you like Y/n?" She said as she look right at me

I felt heat raise to my face and Kankro and Termari laugh

"That's a yes" Kankro said in between laughter
