Chapter 4: Our crushes part 2

Marshall's POV:

I went inside my pup-house as tears rolled down my cheeks I grabbed a toy and hugged it tight. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door...

???:"Marshall you ok in there buddy?"

I didn't say anything.

???:"I know your awake please open up."

I was still silent.

???:"Please...."

I sighed as i opened up my pup-house when i opened It, It was Ryder he had a worried look on his face.

Marshall:"R-RYDER! Um i mean, what do you need Ryder?"

Ryder:"Marshall tell me what's wrong...."

Marshall:"What do you mean I-Im perfectly fine Ryder."

Ryder:"Marshall please stop lying, I know somethings on your mind."

I balled up with tears and started to cry a lot..

Ryder: "Marshall whats wrong?"

Ryder said as he let me onto his lap

Marshall:"W-well i really like this pup m-more than a friend....*Sniff*"

Ryder:"Aww that's so sweet Is It a pup in this Patrol?"

Marshall:"Umm... Y-yeah..."

Ryder:"Why are you crying then?"

Marshall:"Its because that person doesn't like/love anyone...."

Ryder:"Its ok Marshall, maybe their just embarrassed to admit who they like."

Marshall:"M-maybe...*Sniff*"

Ryder gave me a kiss on the head (NOT A SHIP) and walked away.

Chase:"Oh hey Marshall, I thought you were sleeping..."

Marshall:"Oh I was"

Chase:"Then why are you awake now?"

Marshall:"Oh umm j-just a um nightmare that's all! Nothing to worry about!"

Chase:"Oh, Do you want me to sleep with you until you go back to sleep so you can feel safer?"

Marshall:"*Sniff* Yeah that would be nice, thanks Chase..."

Chase:"No problem buddy! Anything for a best friend!" (Chase is Marshalls best friend)

Marshall thinking: Oh Chase If only you knew....

Chase went inside my pup-house, shut the door and layed down next to me cuddling me. I slowly drifted off to sleep when suddenly I heard something.

Chase:"(Mumbles) Oh Marshall If only you knew how much I like you more than Just a Best friend..."

Marshall thinking: I guess Ryder wads right He was too embarrassed to say who he really likes.....

Before you know It Me and Chase were off to sleep...
