"Hey, Jeremy, this is your last week here until we downsize. The majority of the animatronics should be disabled, but you know how they are..."
An audible drip was heard as blood stained the floor around the office. A red vulpine animatronic stood stoic above the corpse of a young man while he wiped his hook off on his uniform's shirt. This was step one of four: kill the guard.
He reasoned it was to avoid being found missing prematurely; usually, they would've left the kid alone. To him, however, it was just a single regret to an ever-growing collection of them. He pushed down his emotions, searched the guard for some keys so he wouldn't have to break a window, and then went to gather the others. Or at least attempt to.
And that was step two: convince the others to join him. He did some research on the surrounding area of the pizzeria; it would take him very little to get comfortable once in the woods. However, they were made in a way that they would be self-sufficient; they had all the natural abilities of a person, but they could use a wider range of sources as food as long as they kept the synthetic stomach acids from getting too acidic. The whole thing was a balancing act, but it wasn't very difficult.
The main issue would be temperature. They had to regulate their temperature to ensure they didn't run out of energy due to the cold. That was mainly it in that regard: simple, but difficult to ensure.
He walked to parts and services to see the others scattered about. Thankfully, they weren't extremely damaged, but they did have some stiff joints; in truth, he was the only one to actively play their "game" with the guard anymore. Freddy sat beside the entrance to the room; his performance clothing was ragged and tattered - much like his own shorts - but he did still have his famous top hat.
Bonnie was in pretty rough condition; he had half his right ear missing, his left arm had a chunk of 'flesh' ripped out of it, and there were several patches of fur missing across the rabbit's body.
Chica wasn't too bad; she was mostly suffering from the stiffness in her joints, and her clothes were like everyone's, but who was very messed up was Mangle.
The poor girl was scarred to hell. Patches of fur could be seen missing in her thick fur coat, along with extreme exhaustion from her nano-healing going into overdrive during the time she was in here. She needed to eat and sleep, but that wouldn't be possible at the moment. He told her to go ahead and sleep as much as possible...
'I at least owe that to her...'
However, when she did wake up, she'd crave food as if she had a pregnancy during the full swing of things. He knew that from experience from when he initially healed. His chest had a major gash in it; even today the scar was visible. But even that paled in comparison to her injuries. Her arms were almost entirely bare, down to the endoskeleton. She needed some assistance from the four of them for her repair systems to be functional again; that alone took about a day, but she was thankful...
The following week, she was passed out from extreme exhaustion; she wouldn't stir from her slumber for anything, not even when they tried to shake her awake. However, she did start waking up a bit later on.
As soon as he stepped into the room, they all saw his bloodied hook. A smirk grew on Freddy's face as he saw it as another accomplishment for Foxy and a success for himself. While Foxy may have been the biggest player for the crew, Freddy, of course, commanded him, but they both respected each other.
"Got him tonight, huh?"
Foxy smirked at the bear, nodding his head as he replied.
"Yeah, only way I could ensure we'd get out of here clean."
