Darryl/Bad | Part 2

I had joined the royal guard together with a few others.

I made new friends, their names are Zak and Vincent.

They're very nice.

There is something I noticed here though.

Everyone here seems to have experienced something bad or out of the unusual.

Of course there are some people that had normal a normal and happy life.

Niki for example, she grew up happily with her parents until they moved and she decided to stay.

There is someone I am quite interested though.

Her name is [Y/N].

She ran into me a few weeks ago.

She had many scars and seemed to not have eaten in a while.

To my surprise though, she smiled at me when she saw me.

She wasn't frightened.

She wasn't sad.

She smiled.

From what I have seen too, she's very kind.

Vincent even takes his black blindfold off when he's around her.

He doesn't do this around me and Zak.

She sometimes surprises me with different actions.

For example, she pulled my hood down two days ago, which confused me a lot.

Her reason was adorable though and caught me off guard.

She said that I was too beautiful to have my hood up all the time.

I don't see where she got that from, after all, I am a demonic pest.

Nothing beautiful.

But she sees that otherwise.

She thinks I'm beautiful.

I am thankful for that, even if I don't understand.
