Chapter 9 - "Something strange"

"That's true, and that's why I want to-"

Her eyes became even darker and a dark and mysterious aura appeared

It surrounded her

And Serena managed to notice something

*Pain

*Remorse

*Regret

*The feeling of revenge

She looked like she was a happy and sweet girl but it seems that suddenly something has changed, something broke inside her and an aura of darkness took advantage of it

And now she had changed

She in a way looked like Serena but she had a look full of hate and an immense desire for revenge

On the contrary, Serena never felt that, because there was no sense in it because the people who disappointed her did not deserve anything from her

That was what she thought whenever a sudden hatred invaded her.

"I want him to suffer, I want everyone who wanted to erase me to suffer, all of them, those who wanted me dead those who didn't want me to be born, I want them to suffer"

"Will you help me?"

Serena stepped back, realizing that the girl in front of her seemed to have become a completely different person

"Who are you?"

Serena asked starting to realize that the situation was becoming dangerous

"Let them suffer, I want to see them all suffer"

Serena was about to pinch herself to wake up from that strange dream / nightmare

But she stopped when she saw the girl suddenly stop and the black aura subsided as if she were no longer possessed

"I don't want to hurt anyone! I- I just wanted to be happy but I am no longer interested in that I- I just don't want to die!! Hic- "She started to cry completely changing her aura

"I don't want to die!!" she screamed desperately "I don't ask for anything else I- I just don't want to die" She continued to beg for Serena's help but her time started to run out and she started to disappear "Please !! I- I don't want to die!!"

When she finally disappeared still begging, Serena not knowing why she felt a tear slide down her face

And she felt something strange about herself, as if something had been stolen from her, Something precious, leaving an empty space inside her

"How strange. Ha" she smiled wistfully with a little sarcasm "I think I'm sad"

Serena noticed something before the little spirit disappeared

She realized that the person who had been in front of her was just a child, an abandoned child desperate for love as if it were the thing she needed to live

Serena felt she should have said something to her

"Sometimes you don't need family love, family is the one who cares and loves you in a healthy way"

Serena also needed to know this because she also got love from someone she considered a "second mother" although she never had the first

But it is better to have someone who loves us sincerely and who wants our good, than to have a family that wants to see us dead

And that is why Serena wished and asked whoever listened to her, to let her out of that cold and lonely castle so she could return to the warmth of her home

To her Nanny who must probably be desperate looking for her and asking all her saints to take her home, and for her cute, adorable and fuzzy pet who must be crying thinking about her while looking at the moon through her bedroom window

"Hey little girl I want to live too but I want to go home even more, you know I want to spend the rest of my life with the people I love"

And suddenly she woke up and almost had a heart attack when she saw who was in front of her

"Goooooooddddddd morninggggggg!!!!!!!!!"

Serena still surprised looked at her sister with a face of "Please wait for the soul to return to the body"

"Today I thought we could spend the day together"

Athanasia said cheerful or at least looking cheerful and looked at Serena super happy as if she had slept for two full days

'What time is it?'

'How are you so happy? How do you wake up like that?'

'Am I the only one who wakes up like a zombie with hair like a hedgehog?'

She asked herself, forgetting the dream she had

Not knowing why she couldn't remember the dream she had
